What will be your responsibility:
As a Junior Databricks Engineer, you’ll embark on a thrilling path of challenges and learning opportunities. Your daily adventures will include crafting and optimizing data pipelines, ensuring seamless data flow for critical business insights. You will utilize a suite of technical tools, including Databricks, Apache Spark, and cloud services, to build robust data solutions. Collaborating with a vibrant team, you will share ideas in brainstorming sessions and co-create the future of data engineering. You will engage in problem-solving, foster an environment of innovation, and advocate for continuous improvement in all aspects of your work. Excelling in communication, both verbal and written, you will document triumphs and lessons learned, propelling the project toward success.
You will also:
· Design and implement data models.
· Optimize SQL queries for performance.
· Develop streaming data processes.
· Participate in code reviews and quality assurance.
· Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
· Create and maintain documentation for data pipelines, ETL
Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language (Python, Scala).
Experience with data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with Apache Spark and big data ecosystems.
An analytical mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
Nice to have:
Knowledge of machine learning frameworks.
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
A flair for data visualization and reporting tools.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
