About the customer:

The client is located in Sweden, they are working on a data platform with a wide variety of technologies: SQL databases, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Power Apps, PowerBI, CI/CD processes. They have several different departments, like logistics, HR, customer relationships etc., and as a Visualization Engineer your task will be to maintain and develop new reports for these departments. To achieve this goal, you will work with an experienced team with data engineers and architects, who will provide you all the necessary information to build the report.

What will be your responsibility:

In this position you will be working with a variety of departments at our client, to raise their decision making and predictive analytics capabilities to a higher level. Most of the time you will contact the project manager from the client’s team, who is handling the requests, but you may also need to connect with some report end-users, to understand their daily work and needs.

You will also:

• Maintain existing reports and extend them to keep up with the latest business directions

• The business must react to its changing environment, so you will be able to create new reports as well, to provide insights to critical business decisions

• You can take part in an end-to-end journey: if you are familiar with SQL, you can create your own process from the raw tables till the shining Power BI reports

• You can take challenges with high responsibilities; the client has several key reports

• In the project you can learn everything about the latest CI/CD pipelines, which knowledge will be useful in your future carrier as well
