Industrie&Co is an Accenture company specialising in building software-powered products and platforms for our clients. We have a strong reputation in the Financial Services sector and love solving complex problems. We are currently on the hunt for a passionate Senior Cloud / DevOps engineer who will be based in our Hong Kong office working predominantly on FinTech and Digital Transformation projects.
Your Role:
Work alongside colleagues and client engineers providing technical guidance and leadership as part of an agile team to deliver high quality solutions, primarily running on cloud services
Typical projects may involve a range of challenges including working with clients early in their cloud adoption journey, using your experience to uplift engineering and delivery capabilities demonstrating cloud and automation best practices, and helping clients further in their cloud adoption journey to optimise and scale their capabilites to fully unlock value from cloud services
Hands-on with technical tasks, with a focus on driving continuous integration and continuous delivery excellence through the implementation of build/deploy infrastructure, enabling highly efficient software teams to develop/test rapidly in a short amount of time
Qualifications
Experience, Attributes and Qualifications:
You have a solid foundation in designing and operating platforms and services running on one or more cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP, ...)
You have experience with security aspects of cloud operations including typical landing zone considerations, IAM best pratices, and audit and governance controls
You understand various cloud adoption models including hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud
You have a solid foundation of core networking concepts (DNS, Routing, Firewall, VPN, SSL, SSH) and network design (hub-and-spoke, point-to-point)
You have experience with continuous delivery and integration (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, ...)
You have experience with configuration management tools and Infrastructure as Code practices (Terraform, Ansible, …)
You understand how to configure and manage non-functional software aspects including application and infrastructure monitoring and logging, networking, security
You are comfortable with one or more scripting languages (bash, python, ...)
You are comfortable with Containerization and Orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
You are comfortable with Linux
You have a Bachelor's Degree in any technical Discipline
You have 7+ years’ experience helping to build platforms and pipelines
