We are looking for UX Consultants to join our growing team in Hong Kong. As a UX Consultant in PacificLink, you will:

  • Serve as UX lead on client engagements, translating business needs into user experience solutions that meet the needs of complex organizations
  • Conduct effective research, including competitive analysis, user and stakeholder interviews, analytics assessment, and heuristic analysis
  • Ability to make successful strategic and tactical design recommendations based on usability findings and standard design practices
  • Develop and present effective site strategies, site maps, wireframes, and user flows
  • Facilitate on-site & off-site design workshops that gain consensus and inform design. 
  • Create functional prototypes, testing scripts and conduct user testing
  • Create and document complex site/ application information and interaction designs
  • Work with our internal team to continually refine and evolve our User Experience process 

We would like you to have:

  • 5-7 years’ experience in a related field (digital, graphic, service, interaction design) and/or at least 3 years of successful work experience in interaction design, information architecture, or visual design of related. Candidates with different years of experience will be considered for corresponding roles. 
  • Proven well-designed examples of responsive grid-based layouts. Strong work portfolio that demonstrates systematic and creative design thinking as well as a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices.
  • Strong ability to recognize and predict use cases and user interaction, including happy path as well as edge and corner cases, and incorporate them into designs.
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills to effectively sell an idea.
  • Deep understanding of information design / architecture, gestalt principles, and user psychology.
  • Ability to manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities, meet agreed upon deadlines, and be accountable for work.
  • Proficiency in graphic design, motion graphics, digital art, a sensitivity to typography, color, layout, and a general awareness of materials/textures.
  • Experience in working with a cross-functional team or large-scale software development lifecycle, including waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Strong skills in creative software such as Sketch, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and wireframe tools like Axure and Invision.
  • Familiarity with technical issues around web development and ability to collaborate with development teams, including but not limited to understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript SVG; D3 and AngularJS experience is a plus.
