Insurance Client Account Lead
WORK YOU’LL DO
As an Insurance Client Account Lead, you will be at the forefront of driving transformation and innovation in the insurance industry. Leveraging your extensive experience and industry knowledge, you will lead high-level strategic engagements with our insurance clients, shaping their business and operational models, and delivering long-term value through technology-driven solutions. You will lead and mentor a high-caliber team, work directly with senior client stakeholders, and play a key role in expanding our consulting business within the insurance sector.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Client Engagement: Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are understood and met while fostering long-term partnerships. Develop and implement account strategies for a portfolio of clients or a single large account. Lead complex commercial negotiations, shape solutions, and advise on profitability, growth, risk management, and digital transformation.
Sales Growth & Account Expansion: Drive profitable sales growth by expanding the scope of services and offerings delivered on existing accounts. Identify and create new opportunities to further align solutions with client needs and goals.
Technology-Driven Solutions: Lead digital transformation efforts by introducing and implementing emerging technologies that modernize client operations, enhance customer experience, and optimize data and digital capabilities. Collaborate with the business to ensure solutions drive continuous innovation and high performance.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and inspire teams of senior consultants to design and execute actionable strategies. Work closely with internal teams and clients to drive high performance and ensure the profitable delivery of projects.
Client Relationship Management: Build trusted relationships with senior client leaders and advise on shaping solutions to meet their evolving needs. Position Accenture as a strategic partner, influencing clients’ long-term strategies and securing ongoing business opportunities.
Innovation & Business Development: Continuously look for ways to expand services within accounts, influence client strategy, and drive business growth. Leverage your expertise and thought leadership to deliver forward-thinking solutions and position the firm as an industry leader.
Project Oversight: Monitor the delivery of services (consulting or technology), ensuring that projects are on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. Address any issues that arise swiftly.
Complex Program Management: Oversee large-scale, multi-year programs, ensuring delivery within scope, on time, and within budget. Manage cross-functional teams, mitigate risks, and ensure that all deliverables align with the client’s strategic goals.
Market Insights: Stay informed about industry trends, client sectors, and competitive landscape to provide valuable insights that enhance service offerings and client strategies.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
At least 10 years of strategy and consulting experience in the insurance sector, with a proven track record in leading large-scale transformations and senior client engagements.
Deep knowledge of the insurance value chain (underwriting, claims, distribution, etc.), along with familiarity with emerging trends like InsurTech, AI, and digital customer experience.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams and driving complex programs across business and technology domains.
Demonstrated ability to develop new business, manage senior client relationships, and identify growth opportunities within the insurance industry.
Exceptional strategic thinking, with the ability to balance long-term vision with practical execution and client-focused solutions.
