WORK YOU’LL DO
As a Strategy & Consulting Manager, you will use your excellent analytical skills to lead consulting teams and solve the business problems of our Energy & Utilities clients and identify and unlock value for them through the innovative application of key trends and business and technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging directly with Energy & Utilities clients on their most challenging business issues – understanding, addressing and solving their priority strategic and operational problems
- Leading high performing teams and helping our clients drive profitability and performance through aligning to the right long-term strategy, business and operating model
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of the industry-specific process and capability model blueprints, to guide the team for strategy design and solution implementation
- Support sales pursuits and develop new business for Accenture
- Leveraging Accenture’s international assets and expertise to bring new ideas to the clients
- Leading and driving energy & utilities organizations’ digital transformation
- Leading project management and change management efforts on digital transformation projects
- Leading business process redesign efforts for the optimization and standardization of business processes
- Working in multi-disciplinary teams to shape, propose, communicate and implement various programs
- Designing projects to meet objectives within established budget and timeline and recognizing when plans should be adjusted
Qualifications
WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?
BSc with distinction or honors from a Top University, preferably in business or engineering. An MBA or MSc in relevant areas will be considered an asset
Minimum 7 years of relevant business / strategy consulting experience in a reputable international consulting company with a focus on Natural Resources/ Utilities industry and or relevant professional consulting experience within an Energy/ Utility company
Extended experience in leading teams for the design of business, functional and/or IT processes and operating models, which are detailed, actionable and aligned with industry best practices
Excellent business acumen to find the best way to support key strategic decisions
Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results on all organizational levels
Excellent problem structuring and solving skills
Excellent analytical and numerical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English
Demonstrable experience of managing teams of at least 3-5 people driving consulting work
Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Building and developing high-performing teams taking ownership of developing others
PMO certification will be considered a plus
