WORK YOU’LL DO
As a UNIX & Linux Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the infrastructure; also, to collaborate with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. You will envision, estimate, define, build, and deploy Accenture’s solutions using standard delivery assets to improve clients' delivery approach.
Responsibilities:
Supports the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the organization's server Unix/Linux operating systems
Installations of new software releases and system upgrades.
Responsible to the in-time diagnosis and resolution of problems that occur during the Operation of Distributed Informational Systems
Monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity
Provides Stand by Support to Operations for Production Systems
Participation and running of new Projects and deployments
Troubleshooting, identifying problems and providing solutions
Escalate to Vendors to resolve issues, such as bug fix requests
Qualifications
WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?
Previous working experience as a Linux Administrator for at least 4 years
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar relevant degree
Working Experience and knowledge of Linux/Unix: RedHat, CentOS
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (i.e., VMware)
Experience in Shell, Perl, and/or Python scripting
Experience in administering Cloud infrastructure (i.e., Azure)
DevOps Essentials will be highly evaluated
Strong problem solving and communication skills
