Kevin Julian is a senior managing director leading Accenture's global Applied Life Sciences Solutions practice. In this role, he is responsible for industry-specific solutions and platforms that leverage Accenture’s businesses in strategy, consulting, technology, digital and operations to help life sciences clients bring innovative products to patients faster.
Since joining Accenture in 1989, Kevin has worked predominantly in the life sciences industry, delivering innovative solutions and complex programs to help clients improve their business performance. Before leading Applied Life Sciences Solutions, Kevin was responsible for growing Accenture’s global life sciences sales portfolio. Under his leadership, the firm established an industry-leading position in technology and business process outsourcing in life sciences.
Kevin has a bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania, and lives in Malvern, PA with his wife and two children.
Tom Lehmann is a Managing Director in Accenture’s global Applied R&D Services group. As R&D Practice lead, he is responsible for driving Accenture’s strategy, offerings and services across the Life Sciences R&D functions . He has 20 years of experience with Accenture providing a range of consulting, technology, and outsourcing services to the Life Sciences industry across a wide range of clients.
Tom currently has responsibility for Accenture’s North American Life Sciences R&D business and is focused on delivering solutions to a diverse client portfolio, including: strategic R&D advisory services, management and technology consulting, systems implementation of industry leading technology solutions, digitally enabled R&D solutions, and clinical, regulatory & pharmacovigilance operational services.
He has an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and a BME from Villanova University. Tom lives in the Philadelphia area with his family.
Dr. Petra Jantzer is a managing director in Accenture’s global Applied R&D Services group. She is responsible for optimally supporting Life Science companies in EALA (Europe, Africa, and Latin America) in bringing innovative medicines to patients.
Petra has more than 20 years’ experience in R&D, both as a consultant in the (bio)pharmaceuticals sector and as a researcher. Petra combines profound R&D knowledge, deep business process understanding, and more than a decade of C-level counseling experience to help clients transform their businesses.
Petra recently joined Accenture from McKinsey & Company, where she had been a tenured Partner in the Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products Practice. Petra covered a broad range of strategic, operational, and organizational R&D topics advising leading Pharma players in the industry.
Petra holds a PhD in Immunology and graduated with an honors degree in molecular biology from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich. Petra and her husband live with their two sons in Zurich, Switzerland.
Brad Michel is a Managing Director in Accenture’s global Applied R&D Services group and is responsible for Applied R&D Services, North America and the Accenture Scientific Informatics Services business. Prior to this role, Brad had responsibility for some of Accenture’s largest R&D client accounts.
Working in Life Sciences his entire career, Brad has a broad background in business advisory and management consulting, IT strategy and solution delivery, and outsourcing operations across Pharmaceutical R&D. His focus is on helping clients drive transformation through innovation, operational efficiency, and cost savings.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering from Villanova University, with minors in Business and Computer Science. He lives in suburban Philadelphia with his wife and three sons.
Mr. Romito is a Managing Director responsible for Accenture's Intelligent Patient Services business with over twenty years of industry experience across Pharmaceuticals and Medical Products.
As the lead for the Intelligent Patient Services business, he has had the opportunity to engage with a broad set of manufacturers across the industry to deliver a combination of strategy, technology and business services to drive tangible value for clients and their patients. Mr. Romito also manages the development of Accenture's proprietary technology, the Intelligent Patient Platform, as well as the network of strategic partners and investments in this arena. Mr. Romito joined Accenture in 1996. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
Geoff Schmidt is a managing director and global technology lead in Accenture’s Life Sciences practice. Geoff has been with Accenture since 1996 and has spent his entire career working with Life Sciences clients. He initially specialized in architecting, implementing and running global application development and maintenance organizations and since then has held roles of increasing responsibility in Sales, Client Account Leadership, as well as leading Accenture’s global R&D Technology business.
He has Bachelor degrees in Management and Computer Science from State University of New York (SUNY) Geneseo, and lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with his two children.
