Anindya Basu is the senior managing director and country head for Accenture Strategy in India responsible for driving the domestic business in India and building relationships with key clients by leveraging the company’s capabilities in strategy, consulting, digital, technology and operations.
He is a member of the Accenture’s Global Leadership Council as well as the AAPAC (Africa & Asia Pacific) Management Committee. Previously, he also led Accenture’s Automotive, Infrastructure, Industrial, Travel and Transportation (AIIT) vertical for the APAC region.
Anindya joined Accenture in 1992 and has worked with clients in India, Asia Pacific and Europe across industries – leading numerous engagements in the areas of management consulting, technology and outsourcing for some of Accenture’s top global as well as Indian clients. Over the years, he has created some of the largest client relationships for Accenture in the Indian market.
Combining decades of business acumen and consulting experience, Anindya has been leading Accenture’s Digital agenda for the Indian market and is a key advocate of the company’s value proposition of “Innovating in the New.” He is passionately focused on enabling clients in India to be true digital leaders by helping them move into the fast lane of digital transformation and helping them improve performance and create sustainable value for stakeholders. He believes that in the rapidly evolving age of digital, disruptive organizations need to be agile, dynamic, and innovative in managing the interplay of business and technology and adopt to digital technologies in an integrated fashion to lead in the “New.”
Anindya holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Boston University and a Bachelor's and a Master’s Degree in Engineering and Economics from BITS, Pilani.
He is currently based in New Delhi, India.
