On this programme you’ll gain a fast-track experience of working across all parts of our Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) business.

There’s real variety for graduates who join us. In your first two years the programme offers you the opportunity to rotate across the following areas of Accenture Operations:
Business Operations Delivery - Deliver services to our clients in core business processes. Provide technical support in a functional or industry specific area with a focus on efficiency, quality and continuous improvement. You’ll learn to identify associated risks and security requirements linked to the business process.
Mobilisation - Mobilise the people, technology and processes of our clients to deliver stable, workable and commercially viable client services. You’ll work as part of a project team with Mobilisation Leads, Outsourcing Solutions Architects and Programme Managers to define, build and implement projects and solutions.
Solutions Architecture - Interpret and translate client requirements into deliverable solutions that create value for Accenture and our clients. You’ll work within a project team to develop the schedule, work plan, resource plan and costs. You’ll become a key member of the sales team and represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal teams.
Account Leadership - You’ll develop your skills to own a client relationship for a particular contract in one or more of our Operations offerings. This may involve providing support in over-seeing various projects and really understanding the client’s needs, while keeping up to date with changes in the industry.
You’ll need to have or be expecting a minimum 2:1 in your first undergraduate degree, or equivalent international undergraduate degree in a business, economics or technically focused degree, for example Computer Science. You’ll also have at least 240 UCAS points (or equivalent).
Ours is an industry that’s driven by client demand. Which means that, we have to place people on the projects where our clients need them most. So, as well as being flexible, an open mind, coupled with patience and adaptability are a real bonus.
Overall, you’ll need a real passion for the Operations industry and a desire to grow your skills. If you’re analytical, a strong communicator and love to problem-solve within a team environment, we’d like to hear from you.

You’ll need to be prepared to travel as client projects could take you anywhere in the country – or even the world – though you will be aligned to our London office base.
You’ll begin the programme with an intensive 4-6 week induction with your graduate start group. You’ll be introduced to all aspects of Accenture Operations and the induction includes:

“The simplest way to explain my job is that we buy products and services on behalf of our clients, either to create savings or add value in some way. Of course every client’s needs are different and Accenture have such a wide range of capabilities, so we rarely end up doing the same thing over and over again. I was based in Logistics for my first placement, dealing with Air, Road, Rail and Ocean Freight tenders for a range of Clients (from toy manufacturers to chemical companies) and at the moment I am in Sales, specifically in the resources sector (oil & gas, natural chemicals, utilities, etc.) where I’m more concerned with the earlier stages of the procurement journey rather than ‘delivery’.
As a real ‘people person’, one of the things I most like about Accenture is the diversity of the people working here. Actually that was my initial attraction to working at Accenture. After completing my dissertation on why women are underrepresented in leadership roles, especially within the technology industry, I was certain I wanted to work in an environment where values were aligned in this respect – and I found this here.
Our global reach means you communicate with all types of people in different geographies on a day-to day-basis. One of my career highlights so far was when, quite recently, I organised and facilitated an Excel workshop which 123 people dialled into! This was a massive achievement and it felt like the effort and stress had finally paid off due to reaching the amount of people from the UK all the way to Bratislava.
The best piece of advice I can give to people joining Accenture is, don’t be afraid to ask questions! Ask as many as you can and to whoever you can. Soak up as much knowledge as you can, especially during your first few months. Everybody has been at your stage at some point in their career and they will try their best to help.”

“It was Accenture’s culture and innovation that really attracted me to apply. During the assessment centre the assessors were very friendly and engaging, I felt so comfortable throughout the interviews and networking. When I went to the Accenture offices where the assessment centre was taking place, I was immediately impressed by level of innovation being displayed, from VR headsets to touch screen tables.
I am currently in my second role within Mobilisation. So, after a client agrees to outsource its services to Accenture, the Mobilisation team is responsible for ensuring that the people, process and technology are in place and ready to provide the outsourcing services on go-live day. It involves ensuring that the delivery teams have user access to technology tools, establishing the ‘to-be’ processes and managing the overall implementation plan.
Aside of my day job, I am part of a team that drives the Diversity Supplier Development Programme in the UK; I support this mentoring initiative as and when needed. I also attend as many African Network events as I have the time for, it’s always a great way to meet new people within the business.
One of the best things I’ve found is that Accenture doesn’t put its people in a box around what they can achieve in their career and it’s up to you to push how far you go. My advice when you join us is be proactive, reach out to people, show dedication and learn as much as you can!”

The first stage of the application process is your chance to give us details of your experience and education within your CV. Make sure to check your spelling and grammar carefully as the smallest mistake could prevent you from moving on to the next stage. Another tip is don’t just list your skills, give examples as to where these have been demonstrated and developed.
You will be invited to complete a short digital interview, which you can do at a time and location convenient to you. You’ll need a webcam, either integrated or plug-in on your laptop or PC. This stage of the interview process will cover your understanding of our business and services, and assess your core skills and competencies which are essential to success in the role. Should you be invited to compete the digital interview you will be sent full details on what to expect and how to prepare prior to your interview.
If you are successful at interview stage, you will then be invited to attend a half-day session in our London office. This is a good opportunity to find out more about life at Accenture and ask any questions you might have regarding training, projects and career opportunities. There will also be the opportunity to ask recruiters questions during the session. You will be informed of the outcome of the assessment centre within 10 working days.
