In our team you will learn to:
Use your judgment to solve complex, ambiguous client business problems, bringing structure and rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques; acting and taking decisions with little management oversight
Understand the strategic direction set by senior management, and use rigorous analysis to address our clients’ business challenges and deliver lasting and distinctive outcomes and value
Develop knowledge of prevailing trends, financials and operating drivers across multiple industries (e.g. financial services, resources, consumer goods, retail, comms and media) identifying industry-specific operating metrics and linking them to relevant financial metrics to identify the key value drivers for a client
Make, build and sustain trusted senior client relationships in the C-suite
Be part of high performing multidisciplinary Strategy teams, learning and supporting team members and leadership and coaching and mentoring analysts;
Contribute to business development activities including opportunity identification/qualification and proposal development/presentation
Support practice/community building efforts such as recruitment, actively mentoring others and contributing to performance management and training activities; develop offerings, assets, capabilities and relevant thought leadership
Engage with the wider Strategy community in UKI to foster collaboration and support growth and development of the business
In this role you will:
Lead successful strategy engagements addressing our clients’ business challenges, providing lasting and distinctive outcomes and value in disciplines such as:
Operating Model Strategy and Transformation
Inclusion & Diversity Strategy
Leadership & Culture Transformation
Talent strategy (including reskilling)
HR strategy and transformation
Help identify and structure key issues into an issue-tree and set of hypotheses and plan and conduct research and analyses that address the most appropriate issues
Understand client strategic/operational issues and structure the problem in order to develop hypotheses around possible solutions
Structure and create business/market assessments and identify appropriate tools to be used and analyses to be done
Develop and utilize industry knowledge to be able to make implementation-oriented recommendations
Develop business cases to identify, measure and realise enterprise value
Compile and analyze data to prove or disprove hypotheses
Conduct primary and secondary research to unearth facts and generate actionable insights
Contribute to business development and building Accenture’s T&O Strategy offerings, assets, capabilities and thought leadership
We are looking for experience in the following:
Good experience at a top tier or boutique consulting firm or through an ‘in-house’ consulting / business development role, with a particular focus on:
Business Modelling and / or quantitative analysis
Organisational Design and / or Operating Model
M&A related organisation integration/carve out design
Leadership and Culture Strategy
HR strategy and transformation
Familiarity with recognized Strategy frameworks and techniques
Experience of research, quantitative analysis and structured problem solving
Experience of building relationships at all levels in an organization, including with Executives/Senior Executives
A high-level understanding of how our key industries (financial services, resources, retail, consumer goods, comms and media) operate including products, players, value chain business models, operating models, industry trends and challenges and regulatory frameworks
A robust understanding of cross-industry business models and drivers for operational transformation, a high level of commercial awareness is also essential
Any background in talent and organisation relevant technologies is also a plus
Experience in leading diverse teams in complex strategy/consulting engagements, delivering high-quality output in short timeframes
Strong project/programme management experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

Comfort with the quantitative skills required to develop financial/operational models and perform data analysis

Experience with staff development and ability to mentor junior-mid level practitioners
Proven presentation skills and confidence to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
Some exposure or involvement in sales origination and the commercial management of consulting engagements
