Collaboration

Importantly, while the aim is to build a strong global offering, ‘CLUK’ is connected to the wider US Concentric Life agency and can share resources where necessary, such as brand designers, project managers, creative teams, medical writers, medical directors, video editors and animators via the agency’s inhouse studio team known as ‘The Furnace’.

In addition, as part of Accenture Song, we can also utilise the Song studio team in London and in the Accenture Song network across EMEA, Africa and Costa Rica, giving us a broad scope of talent to draw upon.

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking a Copy Supervisor, with a strong scientific background such as a life sciences or pharmacology background, to join our dynamic London-based international team. You will have the exciting opportunity to represent our agency, lead copywriters and generate creative ideas that fulfill our clients' needs through impactful ideas and written content across various media.

You may be already in a similar role or wanting to step up and reach that next rung on the career ladder.

You should be a proactive, problem-solver - able to collaborate with teammates to identify and implement efficient and effective solutions. Your dedication to the healthcare field and passion to make a significant impact will encourage you to deliver exceptional results.

What You Will Do:

  • Work closely with Art Directors and other Copywriters to develop and implement creative ideas based on marketing goals.
  • Be fully conversant with clinical data and have the ability to analyse clinical papers to generate promotional messages for a wide-range of healthcare audiences
  • Be a strong brand guardian; fully understanding the competitive landscape, the target audience and goals for each promotional initiative.
  • Review and mentoring of your linee’s copy in line with the creative brief
  • Take creative/strategic role in concepting and developing content for your assigned brands
  • Coach/line manage junior copywriters
  • Work with the Account team to ensure quality and efficiency on all creative projects and proactively troubleshoot
  • Partner and collaborate across other departments, including Art, Editorial, Account, and coordinated Production, to ensure projects meet client and regulatory specifications

You will report to the Associate Creative Director Copy.

Qualifications

What You Bring:

  • At least 5 years’ experience at an agency supporting copy development in healthcare/pharmaceutical advertising.
  • Curiosity for science, (ideally with a strong scientific background) with the ability to quickly grasp therapeutic areas and concepts as needed.
  • Ability to tell a simple and compelling story visually and verbally.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage target dates effectively.
  • A drive to elevate thinking and produce exceptional work.
  • A curious mentality and a desire to continuously learn and grow.
  • An eagerness to coach and advise more junior copywriters
