Accenture Legal encompasses over 3200 lawyers, contract management and other professionals in 46 countries, making us amongst the biggest in-house units of our kind globally. We are a multi-disciplinary team, and provide a range of legal services and support for our internal teams, including Contracting & Contract Management, Board & Corporate, Litigation, Employment law, and Ventures & Acquisitions
Legal Operations (Legal Ops) provides services to those internal teams or functions to improve their day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness, facilitate change and control costs. In addition, Legal Ops drive implementation of the Legal strategy and run our priority programmes across Accenture Legal. The Legal Trainee role is part of the Strategic Programme Management & Operations team within Legal Ops.
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to support Accenture Legal to shape and deliver on some if it’s highest priority initiatives. Working closely with the Legal Innovation Lead, this role will involve managing the roll out of high-priority legal innovation initiatives using the latest Accenture programmatic methodologies to ensure successful on time, on budget delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
The individual will be supporting large-scale legal innovation and technology projects on several dimensions and is expected to dynamically prioritize this support as needed:
- Innovation and Technology Scoping: Collaborating with our internal technology teams and business stakeholders, identify key business and user needs for new technology initiatives. Drive RFPs and RFIs and solutioning process to identify technologies to meet these needs.
- Implementation: Lead the development and implementation of innovative technology solutions that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Project Management: In collaboration with program managers, establish project scopes and plans to develop a program roadmap and establish governance to ensure the deliverables are met.
- Communications: Ensure clear Communication and Stakeholder Engagement using different channels, as appropriate, to ensure stakeholders are informed and engaged as they should be
Qualifications
Qualification & Experience Requirement:
The following elements are required:
- Extensive experience working experience in fast-paced project-based roles to drive legal innovation initiatives, be that consulting to external clients (e.g. in Strategy, Consulting or Digital) and/or working on strategic internal initiatives (e.g. in AEE).
- Experience in product management for emerging technologies in the legal industry, including experience leading implementation of GenAI in the areas of autonomous agent development, contract review, legal analytics, risk reviews, and more.
- Proven track record of supporting senior client or internal stakeholders in variety of scoping, planning, execution and monitoring activities.
- Experience of working across multiple geographic borders and time zones.
- Demonstrable ability to define a project approach and identify the key factors and constraints; knowledge and competence in identifying risks, issues and dependencies.
- Fluency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
