As a Software Engineering Director, you will:
We are seeking a Software Engineering Director to play a key leadership role in overseeing the end-to-end delivery of innovative technology solutions that drive business success. This role bridges business strategy with technical execution, ensuring impactful project delivery, stakeholder alignment, and operational excellence. You will lead diverse teams, manage budgets and schedules, and foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
Technology Delivery Leadership – Collaborate closely with client stakeholders to shape and deliver technology solutions. Oversee multi-location engineering teams and champion best practices in software development and delivery.
Technical Leadership – Provide engineering leadership - supporting the regional lead with hiring, career development, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
Strategic Problem Solving – Demonstrate a broad knowledge of technologies and make pragmatic, informed recommendations that align with business objectives.
Business Development & Growth – Lead technical teams to craft compelling client solutions, develop commercial models, and contribute to RFP/RFI processes. Confidently present to clients, showcasing expertise and innovative thinking.
Technical Expertise – Deep understanding of software development life cycles, IT infrastructure, and modern software architectures, including hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
Inspiring Leadership – Bring excellent communication (written and verbal), leadership, and interpersonal skills to guide teams, engage stakeholders, and drive success.
Quality Assurance & Technical Excellence – Ensure technology solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with business needs. Conduct in-depth assessments and provide guidance where necessary.
Building a Strong Network – Develop meaningful relationships across Accenture and the wider industry, enabling collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and impactful client solutions.
Shaping Strategy & Thought Leadership – Contribute to the broader business strategy, engaging in leadership groups and regional initiatives. Represent the company at industry events, roundtables, and leadership forums.
Clear Communication & Storytelling – Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences. Develop compelling presentations and written materials.
Analytical & Critical Thinking – Assess and evaluate information effectively to make informed decisions and drive innovative solutions..
