The Technology Delivery Associate Manager/Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of technology projects and solutions. This role involves planning, executing, and monitoring projects to ensure successful outcomes. The Technology Delivery Associate Manager will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to deliver high-quality technology solutions that meet business needs. This role requires a strong understanding of technology and the ability to manage complex projects. They should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. They should also be able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Please note Experience in the Media, Telecoms or Software & Platform industries is essential

Responsibilities:

Planning:

  • Ensures that work priorities and assumptions align with the program objectives
  • Minimizes opportunity for mistakes by building review time into plan
  • Creates a logical plan, realistic estimates, and reasonable schedule for an activity or project segment
  • Meets client expectations by ensuring that changes in scope or schedule are justified, covered financially, and agreed to by appropriate decision-makers

Execution:

  • Applies Accenture offerings and/or best practices to work
  • Properly documents and follows through on progress, issues, and agreements
  • Takes full responsibility when making decisions and taking action
  • Organizes and structures productive and efficient team meetings based on meeting objectives and format
  • Manages work within allocated budget

Problem Solving:

  • Quickly identifies or isolates the root causes of issues or problems
  • Suggests options for resolving issues and improving the quality of work
  • Provides solutions to problems for their immediate team, and may provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams

Risk Management:

  • Recognizes own limitations and asks for help when needed
  • Takes client's (internal and external) risk tolerance into account when making decisions
  • Proactively mitigates risk by identifying potential pitfalls and creating strategies to avoid them
  • Mitigates risk by proactively preparing for objections and considering the client's point of view
  • Ensures that implications of decisions are thought through and addressed, regardless of who has "official" responsibility

Communication:

  • Documents and communicates issues in an organized manner
  • Makes difficult ideas and concepts easy to understand
  • Communicates potential risks to stakeholders in a clear and constructive wa
  • Is clear and direct when providing guidance, responding to questions, and setting expectations
  • Uses simple and easy-to-understand frameworks and formats to present information and ideas
  • Asks direct questions to seek a greater understanding of underlying assumptions and expectations
  • Adapts written and verbal communication style to fit audience needs and communication mediums

Collaboration:

  • Shares own knowledge and/or expertise with others
  • Contributes to Accenture's internal knowledge-sharing and collaboration tools
  • Teams with others across boundaries both within and outside of Accenture to develop better solutions
  • Develops and consistently applies a naturally collaborative approach, being responsive and following through on commitments
  • Keeps others aware of own workload and potential conflicting commitments
  • Prepares for others’ reactions when responding to difficult situations
  • Embraces a diversity of ideas, working styles, and cultural backgrounds that are different from own

Qualifications

We are looking for experience in the following areas:

  • Experience in the Media, Telecoms or Software & Platform industries is essential
  • Experience doing similar work either at or outside of Accenture
  • Deep knowledge in an area of expertise based on experience
  • Strong project management skills and experience with methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
