Junior Marketing Agency Role - Configurator Executive
Location: Birmingham (hybrid)
Career Level: CL11
Fixed Term Contract until June 2025

Role Overview:
The Configurator Executive will be a part of the team responsible for authoring website content for various markets for our client, JLR. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior marketing professional looking to get their foot in the door at a global agency.
Areas of work include:
- Auditing content and online content for the website
- Completing audits as per client’s requirements and agreed timelines
- Ensure quality and timely completion of audits
- Ensure clear feedback on errors
- Flag risks to quality to the leads and reporting of audit results
- Manage responsibilities for the team
- Support team responsible for content authoring of market websites through training and knowledge transfer
- Attend face to face client reviews
- Establish global templates for market builds to follow
Responsibilities:
Primary activities include:
- Perform thorough UAT of the Configurator platform on various JLR market websites. Strong eye for detais to spot out issues related to feature availability, copy, imagery, pricing, legal caveats and technical specs.
- Work within small teams working on different configurator projects and analyze various requirements during the entire duration of the project
- Coordinate with offshore teams and other stakeholders on Teams, JIRA and using other platforms for gathering project requirements and inputs as well as flagging any issue blocking production and config setup. Also, need to liaise with market clients on JIRA to ensure market configurator sections are thoroughly reviewed and signed-off for publishing.
- Work with Config Data Models (Excel docs) to update data and copies displayed in different sections of Configurators
Skillset Expectations
- Proficient in MS Excel to work with Config Data Models
- Excellent communication skills to interact and collaborate with offshore team and coordinate directly with clients
- Have an eye for detail to spot out issues on the Configurator platform based on available checklists and guidelines
- Should have people management, resource management and stakeholder management skills to lead small compact teams and handle standalone projects independently
Other management activities
- Identify operational risks and issues related to current process and indicate to operations
- Be flexible to work in shift hours ensuring complete overlap with markets and stakeholders
- Help in overall team’s work-load by managing own deliverables and help team when required

Person Specification
Experience/Skills:
Functional Skills:
- Experience in content management process
- Some experience within marketing
- Experience in working with globally distributed teams
Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including ability to interact with senior members in the project board.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as a self-starter and chase down people/teams to achieve closure when required.
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership of audits by collaborating across teams and individuals.
- An organized and planned approach to work with the ability to move things swiftly despite several dependencies. Appreciation of the need for documentation.
Technical Skills:
- Experience in managing and working with large data sets of data in Excel preferred
- Proficiency in working on JIRA platform preferred
