Overview
This key, customer-centric role is responsible for bringing complex large-scale programmes and interventions to life, using the best-in-class creative, production, facilitation, writers and leadership expertise means to amplify the power and influence of storytelling.
The Senior Producer is a strategic partner for clients’ C-suite Executives, directing the design and delivery of effective and profitable creative and production solutions anchored in The Storytellers’ approach and methodology.
The Senior Producer and Producer Lead plays a significant long-term role in the development and enhancement of The Storytellers’ AoE capability (people, product, process), with a focus on the Producers area of expertise and organisation-wide business growth.
Qualifications
Key responsibilities
Responsible for the conceptual and structural design, sales, planning, development and delivery of large client interventions from a creative and production perspective, to achieve agreed programme objectives and budgetary targets
Develop a good understanding of clients’ strategic imperatives and resources and ensure that proposed solutions are relevant and appropriate
Recruitment, induction, management and development of Producers team and project personnel (internal and external)
Responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of the AoE business strategy and leading the Producers quarterly/annual plans/OKRs, budgets and P&L
Identify client growth and retention opportunities (cross-selling and upselling) and actively contribute to the pitch process and the ongoing strategic Client Account Planning
Partner with clients’ C-suite Executives and creative/production counterparts, developing long-lasting trusted partnerships, aiming to increase the scope and scale of The Storytellers’ services
Fulfil the role of Producer in production-heavy and/or high potential client programmes
Drive the innovation and development of The Storytellers’ AoE capability (working closely with other Expertise Leads)
Actively contribute to The Storytellers’ public profile building through thought leadership, speaking engagements and networking
Skills and experience
Passionate and with an inherent understanding of strategic narrative and storytelling within a business setting, and a desire to adopt, adapt and develop The Storytellers’ approach and methodology
Confident producer with solid experience of managing complex, interdisciplinary projects involving creative and production teams, as well as C-suite Executives from multinational, blue-chip organisations
Deep knowledge and passion for creative process, large-scale live events, film, digital, business conferences, communications campaigns and design, underpinned by a solid understanding and experience of managing creative and production projects
High level of emotional intelligence, confidence and ability to quickly build meaningful relationships at all levels, internally and externally, especially at C-suite level
Strong commercial acumen and ability to grow client opportunities
Advanced project management skills, including budget and resource planning
Leadership skills: team management and development
A lateral thinker who enjoys solving complex problems and is capable of dealing with ambiguous client briefs and unexpected challenges
Excellent command of English (verbal and written)
A true team player, ability to work cross-functionally
