SCCM Engineer and Third Line Support
Location: Portsmouth, Newport or Stevenage (100% on site)
Salary: Competitive salary and package (dependent on experience)

As a Team
As SCCM Engineer you will join the IT team in its support of the Digital Workplace. The SCCM Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and support of desktop technologies in a distributed environment. The SCCM Engineer will be responsible for software distribution and patch management as well as building and deploying software packages to workstations. The selected candidate will provide administration support for software package development and configuration management as well as maintaining the SCCM infrastructure.

As a SCCM Engineer and Third Line Support, you will:
· Working with Microsoft SCCM.
· Working with WSUS to deliver Microsoft Patching across the desktop estate.
· Working with PatchMyPC to deliver Application Patching across the desktop estate.
· Group Policy creation and management.
· Third Line support with in-depth knowledge of desktop/application troubleshooting.
· Creating and maintaining process documentation.
· PowerShell and batch scripting.

Job Qualifications
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
· Expert knowledge of Microsoft SCCM.
· Working knowledge and understanding of ITIL best practice.
· Thorough understanding of Active Directory, including replication and GPO.
· Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems patching, and software such as Windows 7 and Windows 10.
· Advanced knowledge of registry, permissions, and drivers and software required.
