Spark44 is a new type of agency, established as a joint venture with Jaguar Land Rover globally.

We’re not an in house department; we’re a separate business with a specialism in automotive and luxury goods. We are Demand Creation Partners. That means we work across all platforms with a clear customer journey strategy. From the point of Intrigue, through an inform stage, close of sale and delivery of the on-going relationship.


Working closely with the S44 BHX teams, the focus of the MPM is to manage the delivery of projects within a specific market remit. Operating as the main Project Manager for Market coordination between JLR Global and JLR’s key regions and markets, the MPM will manage all elements of Market-coordination, across 3 channels – brochure, website and the Configurator as well as having specific responsibility to resolve issues at a regional level. The MPM will be capable and confident resolving issues and able to work autonomously. This role is pivotal to our internal global organization and the dedicated Markets are the Client-base. This is a truly global position and requires someone who can manage expectations, deliver projects against timelines and communicate effectively.


  • Lead their designated market, be the main point of contact for issue resolution, but escalate when required

  • Manage your clients to successfully deliver print collateral and launch websites according to agreed timings for their designated market(s)

  • Build strong and robust relationships with your JLR Global and local clients, the S44 BHX teams and our local Spark44 colleagues

  • Understand that the MPM role reports to JLR Global and that the delivery of translated Global assets into local market is the role’s core objective, rather than the localisation of Global assets

  • Ensure you are communicating effectively any changes, updates, work coming in regularly to both your clients and to the BHX departments

  • Become a ‘market specialist’ – understanding each of the markets in depth and taking ownership for identified projects

  • Ensure all timings in the critical path are adhered to without fail

  • Collaborate with internal and S44 BHX teams and the external Agency partners to resolve issues

  • Working with Senior Project Manager to establish and manage project plans through to delivery

  • Where deadlines cannot be met, then work with the SPM and BHX teams to work up a manageable contingency plan

  • Update status reports daily and complete timesheets

  • Understand and adhere to the WoWs and BHX processes

  • Write clear and concise briefing documents in a timely manner for all stages of the project delivery to enable BHX teams to act quickly on all instructions

  • Understand the overall critical path for the market projects and the client agreed SLA’s for delivery

  • Take responsibility for all QC and ensuring the correct approval signatures have been given both internally and externally



  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Passion for automotive

  • Approachable, outgoing and diplomatic - must have excellent emotional intelligence

  • Comfortable building strong connections within the agency and at JLR

  • Diligent and articulate

  • Able to quickly build a sound understanding and detailed knowledge of JLR Products

  • Able to present ideas with conviction

  • A clear and confident communicator, in person and writing – with fluent oral and written Business English

  • Excellent time management/prioritisation and project management skills

  • Fluency in written and spoken required language

  • Agency experience strongly preferred

  • Client services experience

  • Luxury/automotive advertising experience is a plus but not required 

  • Proven digital and print experience

  • Proven project management experience of print projects

  • Adept at working effectively under pressure and meeting deadlines

  • Ability to be proactive and contribute to the team

  • Self-starter with the ability to work without supervision

  • Ability to manage and prioritise a complex and varied workload

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of client audiences

  • Good team worker with a collaborative approach.

  • Passion and empathy for the consumer’s perspective

  • Passionate about getting others involved and having fun along the way
