Job Description

As a Security Specialist, the candidate would be primarily responsible to support Security Services business in Europe.

As part of the Proposal and Solution Team (PST), he/she supports the development of standardised and customised content to be used in client conversations, Security Services proposal and responses to Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposal (RFP), datasheets and public content releases, client success stories and other assets.

Supporting the local account teams and working in collaboration with other Subject Matter Experts, Solution Architects and support teams (finance, legal, contract managers, alliances, etc.), the Technical Writer helps develop and optimise technical content that clearly describes service fundamentals and value, delivery models, capabilities and all benefits clients can get out of the services.

The candidate is expected to bring valuable contribution for innovation and continuous improvement of Accenture’s Security services

The Technical Writer is focusing on:

  • Creating clear and concise material, taking care of editing and proofreading tasks.
  • Updating and maintaining a library of technical terminology and documentation.
  • Revising or rewriting existing technical literature.
  • Researching and gathering technical information and studying target audiences.
  • Testing whether users understand newly developed material.
  • Collaborating with offering Subject Matter Experts, Solution Architect, Delivery Leads and other technical specialists to ensure that they understand the subject.
  • Staying up to date with the latest trends and developments in the industry.
  • Translate and represent the Security Services consulting and operation capabilities in simple terms, highlighting the key differentiators and value add.
  • Collaborate with key alliances (security technology vendors) to include content related to their technologies in standard documentation, in line with Accenture standards.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor or college degree in related field (technology, engineering or other sciences) or equivalent work experience
  • Qualifications in technical communication or technical writing preferred
  • 8+ year experience in similar roles.
  • Impeccable grammar skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to critique existing documentation and other people’s publications or drafts.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills.
  • Ability to write compelling and engaging copy.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Time management and organisation skills.
  • Objective analysis, listening with verbal reasoning to assess client’s and internal team’s needs or direction.
  • Targeting, using market research and analysis, to assess the specific audience of any document created.
  • Meet deadlines by being capable of prioritizing responsibilities and balancing your workload.
  • Track record of producing engaging and effective technical content within a specific field.
