As a team:

TFO – Europe Lead is responsible for supporting all technology aspects during a BPS transformation program.  This includes working during and after initial mobilization to support business process transformation and ensure that in-scope technology is providing the expected productivity / savings and target business outcomes.

This role will work closely with client teams, TFO teams, ACN tech teams, and 3rd party vendors as required to help ensure successful delivery of transformation program. The role will also be the senior point of contact for our client, account and geo leadership for technology being used for delivery of services.  The role’s accountability spans all technology being deployed for BPS clients, including those not delivered by Technology for Operations.

This role will also oversee additional roles / positions within the market (geography) or within a specific business offering of specialization.

As a PPSM Associate Director you will:

Relationship / Stakeholder management:

  • Builds relationships with key client Director and C-Level executives (technology and business) as well as Accenture account and delivery team leads that facilitates open communication and trust
  • Governance
  • Responsible for ensuring the right staffing and team structure is in place to contribute to the client’s journey to intelligent operations and support the technology enablement to deliver committed value and business outcomes.  This will include escalation management, issue and risk management, and technology value status reporting

Transformation and Project Management:

  • Participate and help drive the account and portfolio’s transformation journey (Journey to Intelligent Operations, other such initiatives…)
  • Coordinate with client Director and C-Level executives to align Accenture and client dependencies and milestones
  • Responsible for ensuring the overall technology enabled provides required savings and committed business outcomes.
  • Responsible for value definition and realization plan
  • Manage overall technology enablement for the program, including close coordination with resources in Technology, Business Transformation and Insights and Intelligence teams.
  • Accountable for overall technology risk and issue resolution management from Accenture
  • Identify risks early and avoid client escalations
  • Manage client escalations where unavoidable - assign appropriate resources, maintain the right communication channels right Accenture and client leadership on status updates, and drive to closure

Qualifications

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Strong domain experience in one or more areas such as Finance and Accounting, Procurement, Supply Chain, Talent & HR, Marketing Ops, Health, Financial Services, etc.
  • Experience leading large / complex process and system transformation programs
  • Well-developed risk analysis and mitigation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead virtual teams
  • Proactive issue/conflict identification and resolution ability
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate with Director and client executives effectively
  • Proven client facing skills
  • People management with demonstrated ability to build and lead virtual teams
  • Experience performing formal quality assurance reviews
  • Extensive experience managing programs, projects, and teams
  • Previous experience working on complex transformation programs
  • Experience analysing issues and risks and work through approach and strategy to resolve or mitigate

Set yourself apart:

  • Program / project management experience for large programs, including managing work plans, staffing, financials, issue & risk management, etc.
  • Experience with identifying and implementing business transformation initiatives
  • Familiarity with core technology solutions and functions (security, quality assurance methodologies, process modelling, etc.)
  • Familiarity with industry standard business applications associated with area of domain expertise.
  • PMP or equivalent certification and experience with Accenture Delivery Methods and/or Agile delivery model
