This role will work within the Spark44 team, serving a global automotive client (Jaguar Land Rover Transforms Global Marketing Communications Model | Accenture).  The Spark44 team creates brand communications, delivering award-winning creative and marketing effectiveness across end-to-end customer communications.

The Role:

Client Management

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders, operating as a strategic advisor and support to key clients.
  • Ensure clients understand agreed workflows, capacity and help to manage them through the delivery process – showing flexibility where tenable and constructively challenging out of scope requests, providing practical advice to achieve a solution.
  • Be able to work with both Global clients and other AI/Spark44 offices across multiple regions and countries whilst showing an understanding of cultural differences and demonstrating emotional intelligence.
  • Confident presenter, able to deliver ideas persuasively.

Creative Development

  • Act as a Brand Guardian, immersing yourself in all product developments and be able to advise on industry and technology trends and developments both inside AI/Spark44 and whilst working with client/other agencies.
  • Clearly communicate and support the creative team with the client’s brief, ensuring the client’s voice is not lost, but the creative boundaries are still pushed.
  • Establish an excellent “eye” for creative output, recognising strong creative work and when work could be improved.
  • Be able to express personal opinions on creative work which are strategically sound & carefully thought through and be prepared to debate & defend these both internally and with clients in way that is constructive not confrontational.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with the Strategy team for the creation of creative briefs and to identify key strategic objectives.
  • Understanding of key performance metrics to audit campaign success, including social metrics.



  • Take an active role in supporting the Business Director managing the account workload and the team.
  • Write creative, studio, and production briefs on a regular basis, lead briefing sessions internally and/or externally with clients and partner agencies.
  • Demonstrate ability to write, prepare and present documents / presentations / reports that are persuasive, factually accurate – and result in the progression of excellent work.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with production/project management to ensure work is progressed through the delivery process and completed: on time, on brief and on budget.
  • Support the Business Director with developmental review feedback and setting objectives for more junior members of the team.
  • Delegate research and administrative projects to the team, keeping an overview of workloads, whilst remaining on top of your own account admin.
  • Identify resource and development needs within the Team and work collaboratively with the BD/HR to find and retain strong Talent.
  • Have an excellent eye for detail and extremely high standards to act as an example to junior members of the account team.
  • Implement organised systems in order to ensure all projects are on track and guide junior teams by providing support to ensure timely delivery of jobs.
  • Understand and adopt the usage of internal tools and systems to ensure clear end-to-end processes.

Commercial Acumen

  • Demonstrate a clear working knowledge of the agreed Scope of Work (SOW), Capacity Planning process and the status of projects.
  • Ensure clients are aware of any out of scope work, working with the BD to provide associated estimation of work/time/costs and discussing with the client how this will fit within the capacity planning.
  • Navigate the JLR approval process through to PN receipt, ensuring the Finance Team are fully aware.
  • Ensure a thorough understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements & SLAs of the account – escalating when necessary to avoid commercial risk.
  • Take an active lead in remaining on top of financial tracking and all cost reconciliations for the projects they are responsible for.
