We’re not an in house department; we’re a separate business who specialise in automotive and luxury goods. We are Demand Creation Partners. That means we work across all platforms with a clear customer journey strategy. From the point of Intrigue, through an inform stage, close of sale and delivery of the on-going relationship.

ROLE OVERVIEW:         

As a Senior Executive your responsibilities will extend beyond those of a Configurator Executive, you will take ownership for the creation and accuracy of configurators for multiple nameplates/markets.  You will delegate daily tasks to the wider team and act as the first point of contact for any queries relating to your nameplates. You will provide regular updates to the Configurator Management team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

You will provide direct support to your team whilst taking on the responsibility to effectively communicate with key project stakeholders on behalf of your team.  The role demands excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, as you’ll frequently liaise with the following stakeholders at all levels of management:

  • Projects Managers
  • Team Leads
  • JLR Configurator Co-ordinator
  • Market Team
  • Connect
  • 3DXcite

As the Senior Executive you will also be responsible for creating all International Configurators in your care and then presenting directly to the global client at a JLR product team review. In addition to this you’ll also be accountable for the following:

Content

  • Responsible for creating master configurator for new nameplate/model year update
  • Being Brand Guardian ­­­­for both brands and ensuring quality and consistency throughout
  • Gaining foresight and escalating potential issues that may place reveals at risk
  • Ensuring all BAU tasks are addressed in a timely manner
  • Resolving potential concerns with CGI and setup

Team

  • Ensuring your teams daily workload/projects are kept on track to meet departmental timings
  • Recognising & managing priorities while ensuring work is effectivity delegated to your team
  • Ensuring all project trackers are kept up to date
  • Identifying training requirements for your team
  • Developing expert knowledge on the Brand as well as on all Nameplates
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals


Qualifications

  • Degree level
  • Must have experience on JLR configurators
  • Previous experience of leading a team beneficial, but not essential
  • Approachable, outgoing and diplomatic
  • Must have excellent emotional intelligence
  • Comfortable building strong connections with a large network of stakeholders
  • Able to articulate and present ideas with conviction
  • A clear communicator, in person and writing
  • Highly organised and flexible
