This role will work within the Spark44 team, serving a global automotive client (Jaguar Land Rover Transforms Global Marketing Communications Model | Accenture).  The Spark44 team creates brand communications, delivering award-winning creative and marketing effectiveness across end-to-end customer communications.

Role

We are looking for a UX designer to work within Spark44’s Digital Experience team on two of the most iconic and desirable automotive brands in Great Britain today. This role will work across both brands on their respective global responsive websites, digital services and products. Both brands continually strive to offer the best online experiences for their current and prospective customers, delivering and impactful, meaningful and beautifully crafted experiences. You will be working in a blended team of UX Architects, Content Strategists and Designers to craft digital experiences for both Jaguar and Land Rover.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist UX Architects to deliver rich and complex environments; navigation solutions, taxonomies, userflows, wireframes and prototyped interaction design.

  • Have a holistic view of the entire digital experience and be able to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.

  • Have an understanding of how the user journey, content and user engagement works in a digital environment.

  • Support the maintenance and governance of IA patterns and UX standards.

  • Contribute to and maintain UX and IA asset libraries.

  • Be a champion of the UX discipline with internal teams and clients.

  • Assist UX Architects in planning sessions and multi-disciplinary teams to problem solve and deliver innovative and progressive ideas.

  • Assist in the development of long-term proposals that will engage and support customers of the brands in their purchase and ownership of Jaguar Land Rover products.

  • Work closely with the analytics team, run tests and collect data to inform your recommendations.

  • Create presentation-ready documents.

We are looking for a UX Designer to work on two of the most iconic and desirable automotive brands in Great Britain today. As part of the Digital Experience team you’ll work across both brands on their respective global responsive websites, which are continually striving to offer the best online experiences for their customers and potential customers. As well as providing continual optimisation and enhancements to both platforms, you will have a good understanding of how to build compelling user journeys for premium brands, have a user-centric approach, surface content effectively and deliver a luxury experience for a global audience.

Person Specification:

  • An aspiring UX practitioner with an understanding of digital journeys and user experience design.

  • A passion for UX and UI.

  • Have mobile-first approach in your work.

  • Experience of user research and usability testing would be an advantage.

  • You will have good knowledge of Adobe suite and Sketch.

  • Relevant prototyping experience would be an advantage, alongside an appreciation of back-end development and content management systems.

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience of working in a digital agency.

  • Be able to work across a diverse number of projects, solve problems and keep within tight deadlines.

  • Have strong teamworking skills with the ability to collaborate with colleagues from other disciplines to create beautiful, engaging experiences.

  • Contribute to the culture and output of the team by encouraging big ideas and innovative design approaches and processes.

  • Be a joy to work with. A team player and a skilled client partner all rolled into one.
