This role sits within UKI Technology - Automation and Process Deployment (A&PD). The A&PD vision is to seed innovation, optimization and automation enabling the highest possible Technology Delivery quality and productivity at the lowest possible cost.  We are focused on designing optimised client and market-relevant application and infrastructure outsourcing solutions, mobilising projects from day one to enable successful service delivery.

As Project Based resources, A&PD team members provide specialised outsourcing business development and service delivery and transformational expertise to support our Clients. People in this workgroup may work on short- to medium-term assignments from 4 weeks up to 18 months and are assigned depending on their capabilities, specialisation, and their availability to meet the project’s timeline requirements.

Key Responsibilities – Analyst

  • Working within programme management offices for small to medium, complex programmes
  • Day-to-day management of one or more project control processes, including resource management, planning, issue and risk management, scope/change control, process automation and quality management
  • Plan administration using a standard Project Management Tools (e.g. MS Project). This may include setting up plans, tracking progress and reporting variances
  • Understanding Project and Programme performance metrics
  • Working with delivery teams to understand status, issues, risks.
  • Production of status reports for weekly management meetings and executive management meetings to facilitate fact-based decision making
  • Reporting directly to the project PMO lead or Project Manager
  • Internal and client stakeholder management

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

Key requirements:

  • Experience working in project and programme teams, experience of working with remote teams beneficial
  • Experience as a PMO resource spanning multiple projects/ engagements
  • Demonstrable experience of core skills in key PMO workstreams
  • Experience in process improvement and automation beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication skills – including verbal, written and presenting to a group
  • Commercial awareness with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive/ can do style of work 

Additional skills beneficial to the role:

  • Experience of working in client consulting environments
  • Experience of data analytics and tooling e.g. Tableau, Splunk, Qlik, Power BI, Office 365 suite including advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Project / Server
  • PPM Tools such as Clarity, Planview
  • Experience of collaboration tools e.g. MS Teams, SharePoint and Confluence/ JIRA 
  • Certification or experience in ITIL, P30 or Agile Methodologies
