This role will work within the Spark44 team, serving a global automotive client (Jaguar Land Rover Transforms Global Marketing Communications Model | Accenture). The Spark44 team creates brand communications, delivering award-winning creative and marketing effectiveness across end-to-end customer communications
The Account Director will be responsible for managing client relationships and day to day workflows across both Jaguar and Land Rover to help define briefs, develop ideas and deliver effective and innovative solutions. The Account Director will have an outstanding track record and proven experience of delivering campaigns at an operational level. This position requires someone who can manage expectations, multi-task, communicate effectively and efficiently deliver projects against timelines. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and organised individual with a passion for creative, building relationships and developing effective campaigns for two of Britain’s most prestigious brands.
Build strong, trusting relationships with key stakeholders, operating as a strategic advisor and support to key clients.
Ensure clients understand agreed workflows and manage them through the delivery process – showing flexibility where tenable and constructively challenging out of scope requests, providing practical advice to achieve a solution.
Be able to work with both Global clients and other Spark44 offices across multiple regions and countries whilst showing an understanding of cultural differences and demonstrating emotional intelligence.
Confident presenter, able to deliver ideas persuasively.
Act as a Brand Guardian, immersing yourself in all product developments and be able to advise on industry and technology trends and developments both inside Spark44 and whilst working with client/other agencies.
Clearly communicate and support the creative team with the client’s brief, ensuring the client’s voice is not lost, but the creative boundaries are still pushed
Establish an excellent “eye” for creative output, recognising strong creative work and when work could be improved.
Be able to express personal opinions on creative work which are strategically sound & carefully thought through and be prepared to debate & defend these both internally and with clients in way that is constructive not confrontational.
Working closely and collaboratively with the Strategy team for the creation of creative briefs and to identify key strategic objectives.
Understanding of key performance metrics to audit campaign success, including social metrics.
Take an active role in supporting the Business Director managing the account workload and the team.
Write creative, studio, DX (web-related), production briefs on a regular basis and lead briefing sessions internally and/or externally with clients and partner agencies.
Demonstrate ability to write, prepare and present documents / presentations / reports that are persuasive, factually accurate – and result in the progression of excellent work.
Working closely and collaboratively with production/project management to ensure work is progressed through the delivery process and completed: on time, on brief and on budget.
Support the Business Director with quarterly review feedback and setting objectives for more junior members of the team.
Delegate research and administrative projects to the team, keeping an overview of workloads, whilst remaining on top of your own account admin.
Identify resource and development needs within the Team and work collaboratively with the BD/HR to find and retain strong Talent.
Have an excellent eye for detail and extremely high standards to act as an example to junior members of the account team.
Implement organised systems in order to ensure all projects are on track and guide junior teams by providing support to ensure timely delivery of jobs.
Understand and adopt the usage of internal tools and systems to ensure clear end-to-end processes.

Demonstrate a clear working knowledge of the agreed Scope of Work (SOW) and the status of projects.

Navigate the JLR approval process through to PN receipt, ensuring the Finance Team are fully aware.
Ensure a thorough understanding of the contractual obligations, commercial arrangements & SLAs of the account – escalating when necessary to avoid commercial risk.
