This role will work within the Spark44 team, serving a global automotive client (Jaguar Land Rover Transforms Global Marketing Communications Model | Accenture).  The Spark44 team creates brand communications, delivering award-winning creative and marketing effectiveness across end-to-end customer communications.

The Role:

We are looking for a UI/UX to work on the Jaguar and Land Rover accounts, two of the most iconic and desirable automotive brands in the UK today. You will work across both brands on their respective global responsive websites.

Both Jaguar and Land Rover are continually striving to offer the best online experiences for their existing and potential customers. As well as providing continual optimisation and enhancements to both platforms, you will also be expected to develop long-term strategic initiatives for both clients.

Role Responsibilities:

  • You will lead the UX phase of nameplate implementation, as well as contribute to the visual creative and development of .com and global e-Brochures across both brands.

  • Create original concepts and detailed execution, as well as following process guidelines.

  • Understand how the user journey, content and user engagement works in a digital environment.

  • Champion the user experience (UX)/information architecture (IA), ensuring it adheres to S44 strategy.

  • Mentor the junior members of the team.

  • Develop UX/IA for rich and complex environments; nameplates (vehicle pages and
    e-Brochures), navigation solutions, taxonomies, user flows, wireframes and prototyped interaction design. Contribute to and maintain UX and IA asset libraries.

  • Populate wireframes, paginations, prototypes, concept sketches, interaction designs and user flows using key tools – where required.

  • Create clean and simple user-centred designs.

  • Work with the wider DX team to build user-friendly experiences across nameplate channels.

  • Create design rationale and specifications when required.

  • Lead client meetings when required.

Person Specification:

  • Have in-depth understanding of digital journeys and the impact of information
    architecture and content have on one another.

  • Have digital design and craft skills with a strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.

  • Understand user experience design and demonstrate a passion for UX and UI alongside an interest in design and digital trends.

  • Have a mobile-first approach to your work. Relevant prototyping experience would be an advantage, alongside an appreciation of back-end development and content management systems.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Confidence in your decision making. Aware of the impact of your recommendations on both customers and clients.

  • Have experience of working in a digital agency.

  • Have knowledge in combining photography, film, CGI and motion graphics to create interactive digital experiences.

  • Work effectively as part of a specialist team of UX designers, content strategists and designers, both face-to-face and remotely.

  • Have strong teamwork skills. The role will require you to work with team members in other offices.

  • Contribute to the culture and output of the team by encouraging ideas and innovative design approaches and processes.

  • Work across a diverse number of projects, solve problems and keep within tight deadlines.
