The Finance Strategy practice is an integral part of a multi-disciplinary Accenture Strategy practice. Accenture Strategy shapes our clients’ future, combining deep business insight with the understanding of how technology will impact industry and business models. In joining Accenture Strategy, you will drive agendas on issues related to digital disruption, competitive agility, global operating models, and workforce of the future to identify new sources of value.
You must be ready to challenge the status quo and develop innovative strategies that harness your full understanding of how technology will impact industry and business models, and you will use data, analytics and design skills to co-create strategies that provide a competitive advantage, unlock value and drive profitable growth for clients.

The focus of our Enterprise Value Strategy Team is concentrated on creating, enhancing and protecting value across the organisation, in partnership with the CFO. This typically includes:
strategic business planning and target setting
performance management of the business
enterprise operating model design
sustainable business and finance strategy
stewardship of business investments
corporate cost and cash excellence
optimization of the Finance organisation

In our team you will learn to:
Engage in conversations with the CFO & peer C-Suite leaders to understand their context and advise on key challenges
Apply your financial and commercial acumen to a broad range of business challenges and working in conjunction with our technology and industry strategists, shape innovative solutions to meet our clients business needs
Shape approaches and work plans to enable our clients to convert great ideas into business value
Conduct research on market trends and innovations to inform Accenture’s thinking on the future of business
Qualifications - We are looking for people with the following profile
Consulting background with enterprise-wide project experience focused on driving, enhancing or protecting value, ideally in Resources or Financial Services background
Obsessive curiosity – intellectually inquisitive and inspired by continuously learning
Compelling storyteller - able to engage with a wide range of audiences
Collaborative mindset and skills – capabilities to actively shape and participate in multi-disciplinary teams
Thrive in ambiguous environments – able to provide rigour and frame poorly defined problems and make sound recommendations, even when there is no clear answer
Energised by diversity – people who own their professional success and inspire others to do the same
Executive Presence - experience in engaging senior leadership
Highly numerate - strong understanding of commercial and financial disciplines, evidence by recognised professional qualifications or degree
