The Role:

The  Project Manager’s focus is to successfully manage projects closely with their Account Management counterpart and act as a liaison between a wide range of internal teams and any third-party agencies. Although the Project Management function has an internal focus, they must also have direct client conversations. The PM is responsible for ensuring timely, in-budget quality deliverables for cross channel projects in accordance with the agency’s goals, balancing the details with the big picture. The PM must be able to work resourcefully and efficiently (both independently and in teams), knowing when to escalate an issue. The PM will line into and be supported by a Senior Project Manager, together they will work closely, with the SPM mentoring and developing the PM’s Project Management skills through highlighting best practice. The SPM will be available to advise on project specific matters and as a first point of escalation for the PM. Where applicable the PM may be asked to directly line manage and support an APM.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing deliverables for global cross channel content

  • Produce and maintain timing plans

  • Track and report on project status

  • Risk assessment of projects and collating work effort for any out of scope projects

  • Balancing internal stakeholder inputs against the scope

  • Managing multiple cross channel projects at one time, this may include a product launch

  • Prioritise tasks for other teams based on project delivery

  • Book internal resources and meetings as required

  • Assist and support team members as required

  • Be confident assessing projects based on project inputs and delays

  • Help to improve process in conjunction with other departments

  • Understand the impact of client decisions and able to advise as required

  • Taking advantage of opportunities to develop the wider team through training and guidance

  • Ensure challenges/concerns are communicated internally and externally in a timely manner

  • Be available to support the market team during market handover period

Qualifications

  • Degree educated in a relevant transferable function (desirable but not required)

  • Demonstrated digital experience within an agency involved in website globalisation

  • Able to demonstrate depth of knowledge in project management tools

  • Experience working with responsive design, UX, user testing and external development teams (desirable)

  • Formal project management methodology experience e.g. Agile, Prince2 (desirable)

  • Experience of asset production and/or brochure production projects (desirable)

  • Luxury/automotive advertising experience is a plus but not required

  • Able to articulate and present ideas with conviction

  • Strong IT skills
