Role: SAP Solution Architect – Senior Manager

Role Description

 

As a SAP Solution Architect Senior Manager, you will:

  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with CFOs, CTOs and their leadership teams.
  • Advise clients on their S4/HANA transformation roadmaps, helping them develop migration strategies to transition from their traditional SAP ECC platforms.
  • Drive value creation for our clients; positioning SAP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA Central Finance and SAP S/4HANA Cloud platforms appropriately.
  • Play a critical client-facing role that interprets and translates client requirements into a solution that benefits from exploitation of some of Accenture’s predefined assets.
  • Actively participate in the delivery of solutions alongside Accenture Technology colleagues, ensuring that a value based functional business focus is retained in client transformation journeys.
  • Define and carve out solutions to solve client business problems that take advantage of the latest SAP and Accenture Cloud Solutions to enable a digitally driven client business model.
  • Undertake sales origination, including working with other Accenture teams in identifying opportunities to grow a successful practice.
  • Lead teams of consultants to shape and execute a wide range of Digital Finance initiatives aligning finance with business strategy in support of the broader organization’s future vision
  • Mentor, coach and identify development opportunities in junior members
  • Take a leadership role in the practice, shaping and overseeing practice activities that support our growth such as recruiting, designing development programmes and events, mentoring, leading thought leadership and research projects, and client value assessments and analysis.

We are looking for candidates that excel in working in a client facing environment with proven delivery and functional skills. Candidates should be able to approach Finance & Accounting complexities in an informed, structured and innovative way. 

 

Required capabilities

·         Experience in SAP S/4HANA architecture, roadmap and requirements analysis.

·         Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.

·         Deep SAP Finance Functional skills developed in classic SAP ECC based client facing engagements, coupled with an understanding of the transformational benefits that SAP S/4HANA can deliver.

·         Experience designing and implementing Finance solutions incorporating SAP and third party solution components.

·         Understand and translate client requirements into solution definition, observing experience of standard finance process best practice.

·         Ability to effectively communicate the implications of complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical audiences.

·         Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups.

·         Understand and clearly define the input required to create cost estimates.

·         Prepare the cost model estimates to deliver the defined scope of services.

·         Educated to a Batchelor’s Degree Level.

·         Be able to develop credible options / solution papers and provide recommendations to the client

  • Strong business background, working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principle
  • Professional Qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CFA) is preferable

·         Ability to meet travel requirements
