Mobility: up to 100%

Location: London

Accenture is looking to recruit a SAP Retail Manager within our Technology Consulting practice to work within the UKI Products operating group.

With a specialist focus on S/4HANA SD and SAP Retail skills including CAR, applied to the Retail Industry, this role will work as an advisor to support our client account and project teams throughout the life cycle from sales and business development, through consulting and advisory engagements, to the design and delivery of solutions and services.

The successful candidate will bring deep technology expertise and industry domain knowledge to address client challenges. The role also requires a broad knowledge of how to architect solutions that leverages the new SAP digital platform to implement solutions for medium to large enterprises.

As a SAP Retail Manager, you’ll often be required to;

  • Advise clients on their S4/HANA SD transformation roadmaps, helping them develop migration strategies to transition from their traditional SAP ECC platforms.
  • Drive value creation for our clients; positioning SAP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP retail, CAR and CRM Cloud platforms appropriately.
  • Play a critical client-facing role that interprets and translates client requirements into a solution that benefits from exploitation of some of Accenture’s predefined assets.
  • Actively participate in the delivery of solutions alongside Accenture Technology colleagues, ensuring that a value based functional business focus is retained in client transformation journeys.
  • Define and carve out solutions to solve client business problems that take advantage of the latest SAP and Accenture Cloud Solutions to enable a digitally driven client business model.
  • Undertaking sales origination, including working with other Accenture teams in identifying opportunities to grow a successful practice.

Required Capabilities:

·        Experience in SAP S/4HANA architecture, roadmap and requirements analysis.

·        Experience in SD relevant data such as customers (business partners) and pricing

·        Experience in merchandising and SAP CAR

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Deep SAP SD Functional skills developed in classic SAP ECC based client facing engagements, coupled with an understanding of the transformational benefits that SAP S/4HANA can deliver.
  • Experience designing and implementing front office (SD) solutions incorporating SAP and third party solution components.
  • Products industry (Consumer, Retail, Lifesciences, Manufacturing) experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Understand and translate client requirements into solution definition, observing experience of standard SD process best practice.
  • Ability to effectively communicate the implications of complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups.
  • Understand and clearly define the input required to create cost estimates.
  • Prepare the cost model estimates working with Service - Delivery, Solution Management to deliver the defined scope of services.
  • Educated to a Batchelor’s Degree Level.
