Mobility: up to 100%

Location: London

Accenture is looking to recruit a Digital Procurement Manager within our Technology Consulting practice to work within the UKI Products operating group.

With a specialist focus on Source to Pay processes and enabling technologies such as Ariba and Coupa, applied to the Products Industry, this role will work as an advisor to support our client account and project teams throughout the life cycle from sales and business development, through consulting and advisory engagements, to the design and delivery of solutions and services.

The successful candidate will bring deep technology expertise and industry domain knowledge to address client challenges. The role also requires a broad knowledge of how to architect solutions that leverages the new digital platforms such as Ariba and Coupa to implement solutions for medium to large enterprises.

As a Digital Procurement Manager, you’ll often be required to;

  • Advise clients on their Digital Procurement roadmaps, helping them develop transition plans from their current platforms.
  • Drive value creation for our clients; positioning SAP solutions such as SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Coupa platforms appropriately.
  • Play a critical client-facing role that interprets and translates client requirements into a solution that benefits from exploitation of some of Accenture’s predefined assets.
  • Actively participate in the delivery of solutions alongside Accenture Technology colleagues, ensuring that a value based functional business focus is retained in client transformation journeys.
  • Define and carve out solutions to solve client business problems that take advantage of the latest platforms and Accenture Cloud Solutions to enable a digitally driven client business model.
  • Undertaking sales origination, including working with other Accenture teams in identifying opportunities to grow a successful practice.

Required Capabilities:

·        Experience in Ariba and/or Coupa, roadmap and requirements analysis.

·        Experience in relevant data such as suppliers, catalogues and contracts

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Deep procurement technology skills from client facing engagements, coupled with an understanding of the transformational benefits that Digital Procurement can deliver.
  • Experience designing and implementing source to pay processes
  • Products industry (Consumer, Retail, Lifesciences, Manufacturing) experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Understand and translate client requirements into solution definition, observing experience of standard source to pay best practices
  • Ability to effectively communicate the implications of complex technical concepts to senior, non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups.
  • Understand and clearly define the input required to create cost estimates.
  • Prepare the cost model estimates working with Service - Delivery, Solution Management to deliver the defined scope of services.
  • Educated to a Batchelor’s Degree Level.
