The Global Cities & Infrastructure team: The Global Cities and Infrastructure Industry team is a dedicated centre of excellence within our Global Health and Public Service business; it’s is a hub of specialised practitioners responsible for tailoring the very best of Accenture and bringing it to our global cities and infrastructure clients around the world; helping to build on our existing footprint with over 80 cities and to deliver real-world outcomes for our cities and infrastructure clients.
We work with on a global basis. Our responsibility is to work collaboratively within internal and external partners and client account leads to originate, grow and sustain the overall portfolio of Accenture’s work with city and infrastructure clients – this spans cities large and small and it encapsulates state and national infrastructure clients and a growing number of transportation and urban mobility clients; where we see considerable growth.
We work closely with the local market teams to guide / drive their GTM strategy, support individual bids and around 50% of your time you will be involved as an expert resource in delivery.
You will be an externally facing thought leader – a social ambassador and present on the conference circuit and blogging to articulate Accenture’s point of view. You will help build a market-differentiating ecosystem of actors large and small that enrich our solutions to clients.
You will drive the research agenda – engaging with external partners often to co-create innovative Cities and Infra research. You will be passionate about the power of New IT and responsible for horizon scanning and understand the impacts of future technologies on our industry and helping our clients to capitalise on these opportunities and proactively mitigate risks.
We are a global team based out of the UK. We have practitioners in almost all regions supporting our global growth efforts and regular contacts with those teams. We have internally allocated funding which we can use to bring in resources to support us in our day to day work and to invest in repeatable assets and capability development.
This role is typically occupied by a senior practitioner ; we are looking for a strong/ambitious manager with fast paced career aspirations, a self-starter who will have responsibility for the sizeable consulting portfolio that is part of our global business. This includes support on all of the above activities to help grow our profitable consulting sales and revenue and brand positioning, and to build our internal industry consulting capabilities. You will be expected to interface with senior leadership across the firm and senior practioners outside the firm and to report monthly to the global Public Services overall industry lead.
You will be a part of the core team flexing between chargeable work, business development, asset development and thought leadership.
