Microsoft Azure Technical Architect (Manager/Consultant)
Job Location: London (preferred) / Manchester
Schedule: Full-time
Salary: £40,000 - £100,000 + (dependant on experience)
Travel: up to 80%

 Your Role:

The role is within a specialized cloud-native architecture team. Your key focus areas:
> Helping Clients to turn their strategy into reality for the next generation of cloud-based applications running on Azure, enabling the transition from traditional platforms to NewIT cloud ready architectures;
> Designing, prototyping, and delivering applications and solutions on full-stack Azure technologies, demonstrating its rich native services, to respond to clients’ needs for cost-efficiency, increased competition, and agility to respond to new business opportunities;

 Your Responsibilities:

> Creating business cases for technology and organisational transformation to enable migration to or utilisation of Azure and hybrid cloud;
> Assessing and recommending the best of breed Azure technology solutions to address client needs;
> Developing solution architecture, implementation plans and estimates;
> Designing and deploying enterprise-wide dynamically scalable, highly available, fault tolerant, secure and reliable applications on Azure;
> Acting as an Azure Solution Architect, supporting delivery teams with migrating complex, multi-tier applications, or building new capabilities on Azure and implementing appropriate cost control strategies;

We're looking for people who can work through the lifecycle of a project. Dependent on experience we are recruiting at all levels, from Consultant to Manager.

You will need:

> A passion for Technology Architecture and Delivery;
> Experience in developing trusted relationships with clients at Senior levels;
> Leadership abilities - transfer vision into results;
> A collaborative and team-building attitude;
> Strong communication skills (speaking, writing, listening);

 Your Technology skills:

You have deep, hands-on design and development background in Azure, across a wide range of Azure services.
You must have a current certification in at least one of:

> Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect OR

> Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator OR

> Microsoft Certified Azure Developer OR

> Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate OR

> Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert OR

> Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer

 Your Industry & Functional skills:
Our team has the freedom to operate in multiple industries, including Financial Services, Resources, Products, Communications and Health & Public Services. We welcome all Industry backgrounds.

 Your Qualifications:

> Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or another relevant field;
> Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in architecting, designing or implementing solutions on Azure;
