Robotics Process Automation, Intelligent Automation, cognitive and Artificial Intelligence are all extremely hot topics in the market, across all industries and across Accenture globally.  Accenture is already recognized as the market leader in delivering these solutions to our clients to deliver truly transformational business outcomes for their organizations in this changing world.  Across Financial Services in the region, our aim is to maintain this position and partner with even more clients to deliver these capabilities which will help them serve their customers in innovative and unique ways.

 

The Financial Services Technology Manager specializing in Robotics Process Automation (RPA) and emerging automation technologies is a critical role at Accenture, where the Robotics Process Automation and Intelligent Automation business in Financial Services in the region is of extremely high strategic priority.  The role will support the design and delivery of Accenture's RPA and Intelligent Automation offerings, including RPA Strategy, Architecture, Programme setup and governance, IT and business Operating Models, Security and Ecosystem engagement aspects and will focus on bridging the gap between the business and technology functions, articulating the business value of RPA technology.

 

As a Manager within the team, you will have the opportunity to lead a wide range of Intelligent Automation functions, from helping our clients define their strategy through to the implementation of a transformation roadmap. You will lead delivery teams, bringing together our portfolio of businesses to bring the best of Accenture to the market.

You, as a manager, should always remain relevant, bringing expertise and experience in Intelligent Automation technology and solutions. We are looking for to combine industry and technology relevance with strong delivery experience and capability specific to Financial Services. Our managers should be proactive in engaging with our clients and driving strategic decisions to help in their automation journey.

Managers must be professionals who have an interest in how business processes work and interact, and have a commitment to grow and develop our practice. In addition, managers need to apply their skills in project and programme management while exhibiting leadership in process re-engineering and implementation of process, technology, and organisational change, constantly looking at ways of driving improvement in our processes, offerings, and strategies.

 

What responsibilities will you have?

  • Lead the delivery of strategy and leading their transformation journey working closely with other Intelligent Automation groups within Accenture
  • Applying financial services and Intelligent Automation technology expertise to advise, change, transform and deliver outcomes that enable our clients to become high performing businesses with a strong focus on leadership, grow, develop and support Intelligent Automation team members
  • Establish yourself as an FS Intelligent Automation authority acting as an advisor to our clients helping them unlock their automation potential by addressing key areas of consideration such as supporting the Digital Strategy Transformation, Risk & Compliance, Automation Operating Model, Application Transformation Strategy, Automaton Security (considering cloud options), Business Case, etc.
  • In addition to client advisory and delivery, lead business development activities helping to originate and bring together new opportunities to grow Accenture’s Intelligent Automation business within FS
  • Contribute and participate in the Global Technology Advisory Intelligent Automation Strategy Hub to create points of view and thought leadership initiatives that are relevant to our client’s needs
  • Developing and presenting at industry conferences as an authority in the Intelligent Automation industry
  • Hold and maintain a deep understanding of the RPA market, industry context and the FSI’s strategy where RPA can deliver desired business outcomes; work with client stakeholders across technology and business domains, as well as across various Accenture practices and third-party providers to build new propositions, services and/or innovative solutions that will deliver value to the FSI.
  • Support pre-sale activities and provide technical solutions, effort estimation, define delivery strategy and plan.
  • Understand the breadth of Accenture’s RPA and AI offerings to bring the best of Accenture to the FSI through introducing and selling cross business transformational RPA solutions across the entire functional and industry space and develop and implement plans for introducing new functional or industry RPA, RPA cognitive and AI solutions that help expand Accenture's footprint in the region
  • Developing and managing high performing multidisciplinary teams, leading by example, actively mentoring others and contributing to performance management and recruitment activities.
  • Provide performance input and ongoing feedback and mentoring for all key members of the team.

What skills and experience are we looking for?

  • First-hand experience in planning, designing and implementing Intelligent Automation solutions for clients preferably within the Financial Services Industry
  • Understanding the value proposition of Intelligent Automation with the desire and commitment to become a visionary leader
  • Solid comprehension of the risks, regulatory nuances and security implications of deploying Intelligent Automation technologies
  • Ability to champion strategy and delivery of Infrastructure, Platform or Software Automation programs.
  • A deep understanding of the following Intelligent Automation products and how they can be deployed within FS; Blue Prism, UiPath, Workfusion, Pega Robotics
  • A good understanding of the following AI capabilities and how they can be deployed within FS; Machine Learning, NLP, OCR
  • Comfortable working with and leading teams in both waterfall and agile methodologies and exposure across the full delivery lifecycle
  • Broad range of skills, including business insight, interpersonal, analytical and team working skills
  • A wealth of experience and a consistent record of working within a consultancy environment
  • Tried and tested leadership and team management skills with ability to build, run and foster a strong, dynamic team environment
  • Previous experiences of managing teams of 5 or more resources in industry
  • Ability to create Intelligent Automation solutions, carry out technical writing and presentations as well as report generation exposure

What academic qualifications do you need?

  • Industry recognized certification in RPA or AI although not essential
  • Hands on management experience of projects using a standardized set of project management disciplines
  • Bachelor's Degree attaining 2:1 or equivalent
