Salary up to £64,000 depending on experience + benefits

Job Summary:
The Supply/Demand Manager is a member of the Talent Supply Chain team within Human Resources which is at the front-end of Accenture’s business operations and key to our employees’ career experience. The Supply/Demand Manager plays a key role in managing and anticipating demand levels and skills requirements against available supply and is responsible for identifying and addressing supply/demand gaps and creating short-term and long-term supply plans to meet the needs of one or more entities.
This is an important role which partners with the business to help our clients, improve employees’ career experience, and maintain key financial metrics, including profitability and revenue generation.

What responsibilities will you have?
  • Supply/Demand Balancing
    • Anticipate and address skills shortages, excess capacity and supply/demand imbalances, including longer-term view of expected supply/demand position
    • Work with business leaders to set and adjust strategic direction and actions to keep supply/demand in balance and provide consultative, problem-solving support for business issues when escalated
  • Resource Forecasting & Talent Planning
    • Develop annual headcount plan in line with key business metrics and affordability requirements, monitor key metrics throughout the year and manage and adjust the plan in collaboration with leadership, Field HR, Finance and the RF&P team
    • Collaborate with business leadership and the RF&P team to understand demand and financial forecasts and create and regularly review a supporting supply plan, intended to meet current and future demand and support financial metrics
    • Drive short-term and long-term talent planning across assigned entities, including planning of skills requirements and multiple sourcing channels to maximise revenue and optimise cost
  • Recruitment
    • Work with Recruitment to advise on recruitment plans, key challenges and requirements and oversee the fulfilment of those plans, identifying alternative solutions where required
  • Talent Analytics
    • Prepare and present management analysis using key metrics, articulating the underlying story behind the results and recommending and implementing specific actions to address any issues
    • Identify and assess complex problems for area of responsibility. Create solutions in situations in which analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • Productivity
    • Own all metrics related to people productivity and utilisation, including current and forecast chargeability
    • Escalate issues to leadership and make recommendations for and drive required actions
  • Stakeholder Management
    • Act as main point of contact for leadership teams for all supply/demand matters, often involving issues that may require acceptance of an alternate approach
    • Manage relationships with stakeholder group and key individuals and partner with multiple cross functional teams
    • Collaborate with HR CoEs, HR Business Partners and HR Service Delivery teams to prioritize, develop and implement initiatives that are practical and effective
  • Team Management
    • Team leadership responsibilities, including coaching and capability-building required as the TSC team evolve towards a stronger focus on our employees’ career experience


What skills & experience are we looking for?
  • Demonstrated work experience in an HR, Finance, account management or business operations capacity
  • Experience of leading and managing supply/demand management or other relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of Accenture’s operations and business strategy
  • Strong influencing/negotiation and conflict management skills
  • Proven ability to build and sustain collaborative relationships at all levels of an organisation
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Strong team management skills, with a proven ability to coach and develop team members
  • Excellent organisational skills, focusing on quality, processes and results
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial metrics
