Role: Digital Product Owner

Location: Shipley

Travel: potential travel to and work from locations throughout the UK.


We have roles available across the following Accenture career levels depending on skills and experience:


Specialist or Lead: £36,000 to £47,500 + (Depending on experience)

Associate Manager: £41,800 to £54,000 + (Depending on experience)

Manager: £50,000 to £62,500 + (Depending on experience)

Role Responsibilities


We help leading brands digitally transform, grow and innovate. You'll join the Delivery team and will get the chance to work on digital strategy, digital delivery, experience design, content management, ecommerce and omni-channel retail projects for our clients.


As a Product Owner you’ll work with agile delivery teams, user researchers, designers and client teams to create some of the most innovative digital products and services in the market today.


You’ll balance the needs of your client and their customers to define a clear vision for digital products, marrying user needs and business needs with the right people and technology.


You'll own the product roadmap and give day-to-day direction to delivery teams to achieve sprint goals and ensure they continuously deliver maximum value.  You’ll champion the product vision and define requirements, bringing them to life through interactive prototypes and user stories, continually prioritising and refining the product backlog using tools like Jira and Confluence.


You’ll be determined, an expert in stakeholder management and brilliant at communicating with people from all areas and levels of the business. You’ll relentlessly focus on delivering measurable value for your client, juggling competing priorities and making effective decisions on what product delivery teams should be working on. You’ll be a creative problem solver, good at thinking on your feet and comfortable working in fast-paced Agile environments.

What skills & experience are we looking for?


Skills and Experience


We are seeking individuals who have at least an intermediate level of experience in working in progressive digital companies or on innovative digital project, products and services


A strong understanding of the purpose and use of the following;

  • Jira, Confluence, Axure, iRise,
  • Adobe AEM, Hybris, Websphere, Magento, ATG, Sitecore,
  • WordPress, Drupal,
  • Cloud computing (AWS, Azure, etc).

We would also like applicants to have project experience in several of the following;

  • Product Ownership/Product Management, Business Analysis, Digital Marketing/Strategy or Service Design
  • Agile digital delivery
  • User experience, research or experience design, user journey mapping, requirements gathering, user story writing
  • Examples of which are;
    • eCommerce Platforms (e.g. Hybris, Magento, IBM Websphere, Demandware, ATG),
    • Content Management Systems (e.g. Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, WordPress, Drupal),
    • Interactive prototyping (e.g. Axure, InVision, iRise),
    • Marketing platforms (Marketo, Eloqua, Unica),
    • Web Analytics (Google Analytics),
    • Product Backlog management (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
