The Intelligent Cloud and Infrastructure team assists clients in transforming their technology infrastructure and support with their journey to private/public cloud services. The team provides consulting services across cloud, data centre, workplace, network and service management areas. We enable our clients deliver their cloud and infrastructure strategy and define the target state required to support the digital business, simplify operating models and driving significant cost savings. We do this by providing an integrated consulting experience on our clients’ journey to cloud and helping them navigate the increasingly complex regulatory and compliance landscape.
Accenture is seeking to recruit Cloud and Infrastructure Technology Consultants within the Network domain of the team advising our clients to enable their journey to cloud and digital business, delivering innovative network infrastructure solutions for their enterprise in the UK, Europe and around the globe across all industries.
As a consultant you will support business case definition and crafting the transformation roadmap. You will work as part of a team to take the transformation roadmaps and define programme delivery plans and then deliver the ground-breaking change for our clients. You could also lead delivery teams, bringing together our portfolio of businesses to bring the best of Accenture to our clients.
We expect our consultants to be always relevant, bringing our clients expertise and experience in cloud and infrastructure technology and solutions. Our consultants combine industry and technology relevance with strong delivery experience and client management as well as capabilities specific to the industry they are working in.
What responsibilities will you have?
- Building strong relationships with senior clients
- Solution or Programs Costing and Estimating
- Client focus and influencing skills (advisory)
- Working in a design and deployment team for network projects
- Input into end to end delivery lifecycle of network and telephony solutions
- Providing domain expertise when collaborating on cross platform projects with teams responsible for Network, Desktop and Data Centre
What skills & experience are we looking for?
- Presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts appropriately to audiences of varying technical background
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Hands-on delivery experience in large, complex change programmes.
- Experience in responding to client requirements, crafting innovative technology enabled solutions, responding to RFPs and presenting technology solutions to clients. Trained in Cloud or Infrastructure Technologies and Concepts
- Network Engineering and Operations experience
- Network design and solution architecture experience
- Data Centre switching and Routing design and deployment
- SDDC technologies such as NSX or ACI
- SDN technologies such as Viptela, Velocloud, iWAN etc.
- Wi-Fi design and deployment experience
- Enterprise routing and switching experience
- Network Security design and deploy skills, Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco
- AWS or Azure cloud experience
What academic qualifications do you need?
- Bachelor's Degree attaining 2:1 or equivalent
- Ideally relevant level of certification such as CCNA, VCA-DBT, CCNP VCP6-NV.
