A new area within Accenture Digital is Industry X.0, Accenture’s approach to the Digital Re-Invention of the Industry. In your role within our Industry X.0 team, you’ll help clients take advantage of significant market opportunities as digital technology moves into the core of industry in product development and manufacturing environments.  You’ll help them transform their product, manufacturing and product related services value chains in Automotive, Retail, Consumer Goods, Industrial & Medical Equipment,  Communications, High Tech, Chemicals, Mining, Oil & Gas and Utilities.   As part of Accenture Digital, you’ll benefit from tailored career management and specialist skills that will fuel your ambitions in the Industry X.0 space.

Being part of Industry X.0, the individual will be accountable for helping clients target and deliver value through the digital transformation of their core R&D and Engineering operations using SAP S/4HANA, Cloud Applications and SAP Leonardo.



What responsibilities will you have?

  • Lead SAP PLM consultant within a team of developers to deliver on the PLM solution for our client
  • Facilitate development of assets and solution frameworks that combine knowledge of the R&D and Engineering business processes and issues, technology trends and digital priorities.
  • Analyze clients’ strategy, operating vision, business imperatives and capabilities.
  • Define use cases for SAP PLM solution architectures for digital R&D and Engineering operations.
  • Develop the business case, SAP PLM solution architecture, and implementation roadmap for clients’ transformation journeys.
  • You will analyse the technical requirements and translate them into client specific SAP PLM solutions.
  • You will design modular, high performing and scalable SAP PLM solutions and contribute essentially to improve innovation speed and efficiency for our increasingly complex and interconnected clients operating internationally
  • You will implement complex SAP PLM applications to be integrated into the existing IT landscape of our clients, especially ERP and CAx solutions
  • Maintain focus on the challenges of data migration and system integration

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • In-depth experience with R&D and Engineering transformation and process redesign methods in Process Industries.
  • Knowledge of existing, new and emerging SAP PLM capabilities and being able to practically apply them to R&D and Engineering operations.
  • Knowledge in all aspects of designing and constructing end to end R&D and Engineering business processes, functions and organizational structures.
  • Ability to create original concepts and theories for improving growth and efficiency through digital R&D and Engineering transformation.
  • Ability to identify the client value delivered by a R&D and Engineering solution and provide a point of view on what the architecture should look like.
  • Professional experience with SAP PLM including the following:
  • S/4HANA Digital Core (Innovation Management, Portfolio and Project Management, Capital Project Management, Project Systems, Enterprise Product Formulation, Product Compliance, Product Lifecycle Costing)
  • Cloud Apps (Intelligent Project Management, Intelligent Product Design)
  • Leonardo Solutions (Connected Products)
  • Functional experience in Engineering/Manufacturing IT systems including ERP, PLM, MES and QMS
  • Bachelor’s Degree, relevant professional experience in business development support, RFP response and professional IT services sales
  • Experience in at least 2 of the following industries:
  • Consumer Goods and Services, Lifesciences, Chemicals
  • Good analytical & troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
