Accenture’s experts concentrate on helping the Chief Data Officer, Chief Digital Officer, Chief Distribution Officer and Chief Marketing Officer, and their teams, to face these challenges. These experts form our Customer Insight & Growth (CI&G) team.   


Customer Insight & Growth

Our purpose is to help Financial Services firms deliver compelling and innovative customer experiences that delight and serve their customers better. One of the ways that we are helping our clients respond to change at pace is through the utilisation of Agile delivery methodologies.


The CI&G practice sits within our Financial Services Consulting Business, spanning Banking, Insurance and Wealth Management. In CI&G we help client define, plan and deliver changes that impact end customers and the front-office which includes:

·      Moving organisations to be more customer centric, helping them shape their business and operating models

·      Creating compelling customer propositions

·      Transforming customer journeys and personalising interactions to create meaningful and consistent experiences

·      Utilising the power of customer data to help organisations maximise value from their interactions

·      Blending physical and digital engagement models to give customers a compelling service model

·      Resetting the organisation to get front-office staff focused on supporting customers in an increasingly digital world

·      Re-inventing the customer ‘ecosystem’ as products / services spread across organisations

Role Description

It’s important to understand what you might be doing on a day to day basis, and how this might differ from your current position, to make sure Accenture is the right place for you. Most Consultants and Managers spend most of their time working on client sites, delivering a project, with the expectation of extra-curricular responsibilities and practice building on the side.


This role is an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about agile and has experience in delivering transformational change. You will be working on a wide range of projects, utilising tools and techniques to help our clients rotate to the new, drive digital transformations and redefine customer experience. This will require creative thinking, strong project management and excellent client communication skills plus the ability to identify new innovative ways to apply skills and services to solve a wider set of client problems.


Required Skills

We would like you to actively contribute to our community and clients as practitioners, think logically to solve problems and engage others. We want you to be driven to develop yourself and others, as well as having a ‘big picture’ understanding of the Financial Services Industry. 


As well as the above, you should have experience/expertise in one or more the following areas:  

  • ‘Multi-channel’ and/or digital development of future-state customer journeys covering e.g. front and back office, Branch, Telephony, Online, Tablets and/or Mobile services 
  • Functional expertise on core banking and insurance distribution processes, for example: customer onboarding; account opening; generating leads 
  • Strong understanding of Scrum and or wider Agile techniques and frameworks for example Lean, Six Sigma to identify opportunities and drive value for customers and improve business performance
  • Experience as a key member of a cross functional, Agile team e.g. PM, Scrum Master, Scrum coach, Lead Business Analyst, and able to support teams in their application of Scrum theory, practices, rules and values to design and implement e.g. new customer journeys, front-office digital solutions
  • Appreciation of the wider behavioural and cultural change required to support agile and digital transformations and ability to apply Agile principles in a pragmatic fashion
  • Familiar with translating and communicating complex information into simple language to help senior and executive-level clients to make informed decisions
  • Possess strong analytical, problem solving skills and be able to utilise continuous improvement techniques
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Ability to operate at all stages of a project/programme lifecycle, from proposal through to full programme delivery and experience managing risks
  • Experience in Banking, Insurance or Wealth Management
