Schedule: Full-time

Location: London

Travel: 100% (Typically Monday-Thursday)

Job Description


As a CFO & Enterprise Value strategist, you will support clients with:

  • Shaping Finance Vision and Strategy
  • Defining Next Generation Operating Models and Organisation Structures
  • Capturing the Value of Advanced Analytics
  • Digitising the Finance Function 
  • Enterprise Strategic Cost Management
  • Developing Finance Talent and Capabilities

A CFO & Enterprise Value Manger:


  • Develops trusted advisor relationships with CFOs and their teams
  • Shapes and develops comprehensive Finance strategies, including cost reduction opportunity assessment, operating model transformation, digital strategy, analytics and data strategy and more
  • Develops Finance strategies by identifying and assessing the client’s business challenges/needs/gaps, diagnosing the root problems, and identifying a solution approach leveraging the best of Accenture
  • Helps clients improve their ability to drive business outcomes through digital planning, reporting, and analytics
  • Articulates the value proposition and business case for digital finance solutions
  • Analyses and models data to support large scale cost reduction programmes
  • Creates strategies and blueprints that define the finance and business operating model, digitisation plan, data and analytic insights engine to support the broader organisation’s future strategy
  • Reviews and shapes organisation models for Finance and/or other functions.
  • Owns and shapes engagement opportunities with C-level clients
  • Identifies where our clients need to build the required capabilities for growth and innovation in order to sustain high performance
  • Manages engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, manage account receivables, define deliverable content, ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
  • Manages multi-disciplinary teams to shape, secure, communicate and implement programs. Encourages creative and innovative thinking from team members while helping them to bring their ideas and career plans to fruition. Works across the global CFO & Enterprise Value practice to share lessons learned and best practices.
  • Refines and optimises the CFO's ability to organise and analyse financial, operational and external information to create shareholder value
  • Contributes to Thought Leadership and leverages the skills of other Strategists throughout the practice (Business Strategy, M&A, Technology Strategy and others) to enable cohesive delivery of strategic solutions.
  • Maintains an understanding of advancements in technology and innovations which are happening across digital, analytics, the CFO ecosystem and broader marketplace. Also be the business architect bringing together parts and expertise of Accenture to have more informed conversation with the client


Skill and Experience Requirements:

 

Key Requirements:

  • Finance or strategic consulting experience
  • Experience must include an understanding of the finance function, operating models and processes transformation
  • Ability to effectively engage with senior-level client executives
  • Proven track record in driving business outcomes for large companies
  • Prior project delivery experience
  • Ability to effectively mentor, advise, and coach subordinates
  • Strong academic credentials (excellent undergraduate and preferably post-graduate or professional certification)
  • Excellent verbal and written competence in English
  • Leadership; the ability to easily establish trust-based relationships and gain valuable insights through collaboration and communication

Preferred Requirements:

  • Previous data analytics experience
  • Ability to extract insight from financial data; finance modelling skills
  • Experience in one or more of the following industries; Communications, Media & Telecommunications (CMT), Resources, and Products
  • Good understanding of finance data, functional and tool architecture
  • ERP technology understanding (SAP / Oracle) and other Finance technologies (Cognos, Hyperion, OBIEE, Tableau, Fusion, etc.)
  • MBA or recognised professional qualification
