Accenture is looking to recruit an Oracle ERP Consultant within our Technology Consulting Application, Architecture & Platform Advisory practice to work within the UKI Resources operating group.

With a specialist focus on the Oracle ERP solutions (E-Business Suite, Fusion), applied to the Resources Industry, this role will work as a Subject Matter Expert to support our client account and project teams throughout the life cycle from sales and business development, through consulting and advisory engagements, to the design and delivery of solutions and services.

The successful candidate will bring expertise in industry domain knowledge and applying technology solutions. It also requires a broad knowledge of Oracle’s ERP solutions to advise clients on how to leverage these leading-edge platforms to improve business performance.


We are currently seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Consultant to join the Resources Client Service Group, which is responsible for managing client relationships and providing industry insight and experience across the Energy, Utilities, Chemicals and Natural Resources industries. As an Oracle ERP consultant, you’ll often be required to;

  • Play a critical client-facing role providing functional and technical subject matter expertise on Oracle solutions
  • Shape and design Oracle solutions to solve client business problems focussed on value creation
  • Support the client in business process, architecture, and technology changes driven by new Oracle solutions
  • Advise our clients on how best to harness Oracle’s ERP solutions to enable the digital business transformation
  • Collaborate with other teams within Accenture to develop solution offerings as part of Sales activities



Required Capabilities

  • Implementation experience in an Oracle ERP/ Fusion implementation or upgrade project e.g. requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, functional design documentation, user acceptance testing, training or deployment activities

·   Knowledge or understanding of Oracle’s Cloud Platform is desirable

  • Good understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and how they are supported by DevOps
  • Ability to gather and understand buyer requirements and apply standard process methods and deliverables
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders or non-technical audiences
  • Experience working as part of a team to deliver solutions to customers
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Understanding of the Resources industry (Energy, Utilities, Chemicals and Natural Resources).
