Application Development Manager (SAP - Utilities)

 

Locations: London (must be willing to be based at and travel to client sites throughout the UK)

 

We have roles available across the following Accenture career levels depending on skills and experience:

 

Associate Manager: from £47,000 to £64,000+ (Depending on experience)

Manager: from £60,000 to £76,000+ (Depending on experience)

As one of the largest IT company, we are currently seeking an experienced IT Project Manager in SAP Utilities, specifically in smart metering. In this role, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for the solution architecture and design of IT solutions, managing our team of IT professionals, implementing technology and the execution of all technology-related tasks and initiatives. The successful candidate will also be the liaison with the client and all the third-party suppliers. Additionally, the selected candidate also needs to manage the service introduction and hyper-care responsibilities.

  

Technical Skills

 

Job Qualifications and Skills:

·         In-depth experience in SAP- Utilities

·         At least moderate experience in UK Retail Smart Metering solutions

·         Implementation experience of Siemens EnergyIP 8x, CGI Smart Metering Gateway

·         In-depth knowledge of DCC DUIS commands for SMETS2  and GBCS Specification

·         Knowledge of SMETS1  

·         Experience in managing large transformation projects and large teams

·         In-depth knowledge and experience in service introduction and hyper-care

·         Knowledge of MDMS, DCC and integration with SAP systems

·         Ability to manage both onshore and offshore teams

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Job Responsibilities include:

·         Lead Solution, Design, build and test teams across multiple releases

·         Status reporting to client and company leadership

·         Stakeholder Management

·         Liaison with third parties and product vendors

·         Service introduction across multiple releases

·         Lead the stabilization of the live system(s)

·         Participate in recruitment, orientation and ongoing training of new IT staff

·         Supervise and direct IT project personnel
