Assisting the UK & Ireland Payroll Operations team with the production of the UK & Ireland monthly payroll.  Being responsible for a section of the UK payroll and all aspects involved in this.  Whilst the role is mainly UK payroll there will also be some Ireland Payroll support.

What Responsibilities will you have

  • Input manual changes to payroll on a monthly basis
  • Validate accuracy of monthly data input of colleagues
  • Ensure that any absence payments comply with the Terms and Conditions relating to the
  • individual.
  • Weekly emergency payments
  • Manually calculate overpayments from gross to net
  • Maintain internal relationships (HR/ESC/Pensions/Finance)
  • Support end to end query resolution process
  • Statutory and contractual compliance
  • Internal financial control (ensure that all costings and WBS codes are handled correctly under the guidance of the senior members of the team
What Skills and Experiences are we Looking for ?
  • Experience of working in Payroll is essential
  • Solid knowledge of UK payroll related legislation
  • Ability to manually calculate a payslip from gross to net is essential
  • Experience in busy payrolls
  • Communication and presentation
  • Customer service skills
  • Team working skills
