Role: RAN Network Consultant

Organization: Accenture Consulting - Communications, Media and Technology

Travel: Up to 100% (Monday – Thursday)

Salary: £47,000 - £87,000

Communications, Media and Technology

In this role, you’ll be part of the Communications, Media & Technology group where you’ll work with companies that are creating the products of tomorrow. Accenture works with 95% of the world's 20 largest Communications companies, 80% of the Fortune 500's Electronics and High Tech companies, 67% of the world's 50 largest Media companies, and all 6 of the major Hollywood studios. You'll use your industry-specific expertise to help your clients seize the opportunities made possible by the convergence of communications, computing and content.

 

You will be part of the Network Practice, which helps our clients innovate and transform their businesses around how they plan, build, launch and operate network and service platforms in order to streamline operations, minimize time to market, and reduce costs. 


Your experience will include:

  • Proven Consulting/Services experience in the Communications, Media & Technology industry
  • Understanding of RAN and Transmission network infrastructure – with an  engineering or strong technical project management background.
  • Strong client / customer relationship management
  • Proven Delivery track record – such as independent responsibility for a project or workpackage.
  • Insight to market and industry trends, and their impact on a client
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

To set yourself apart you, experience in the following is preferred:

  • Exposure to RAN technologies GSM,WCDMA and LTE; understanding of RNC/BSC/NodeB/BTS Dimensioning, capacity expansion, feature upgrades and relevant protocols.
  • Understanding of the network deployment lifecycle from suite acquisition through to build / deployment.
  • Familiarity with RAN integration with core network and understanding of e2e mobile architecture.
  • Understanding of continuous process improvement, roadblock analysis and removal, Network utilisation and quality analytics & Network cost optimisation
  • Exposure to time and budget forecast / Trending
  • Previous experience or interest in working in globally distributed workforce environments, including offshore model
  • Experience defining and integrating technical solutions into an organization`s strategy, vision, and aspirations
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, with organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Exposure to analytics and analytical methods, both prescriptive and predictive
  • Proficient in MS Office & MS Project Plan.
