Role Purpose

 

To differentiate our client from their competitors by providing a high level of implementation consultancy to clients.  To understand industry strategy together with how and why this can rapidly change. Influence and advise clients in line with their day-to-day banking requirements and operational needs, Thereby identifying opportunities to streamline clients’ processes and cross sell opportunities. Maximising global/regional mandate opportunities and in turn maximise Bank revenue.

 

Lead and oversee the implementation of transition management projects which will handle all aspects of UK cash management solutions (including accounts management, liquidity management, payables management, receivables management and delivery systems) for GBM/CMB.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABLITIES - Key Activities and Decision Making Areas

 

Customers / Stakeholders

 

Responsible for providing implementation consultancy to clients on Transition Management.

 

Articulate, drive and effectively implement  a number of client migration projects, to ensure consistency and a seemless transition.

 

Scope client’s existing current cash management solutions with a view to indentfying risks & challenges that may occur as a result of the migration.

 

Translate transition strategies into tactical plans that can be successfully implemented in the UK. 

 

Ensure that the appropriate resources are available and project controls are established.

 

Resolve any service delivery or product issues on a pro-active basis in order to minimise the impact to the client and the PCMs reputation

 

Ensure that product/documentation deficiencies which come to light are resolved and agreed with the client, whilst protecting PCM’s interest

 

Teamwork

 

Lead, motivate and support Implementation Managers ensuring that they have a clear understanding of the client’s current requirements.  Ensure projects are delivered in line with client time lines by pro-actvely engaging with stakeholders both within and outside of PCM. 

 

Lead and drive Implementation of the Global TOM in Europe.

 

Ensure client satisfaction is not impacted a result of the migration

 

Ensure team focuses on the priorities for the benefit of the client.

 

Operational Effectiveness & Control

 

Responsible for the articulating a coherent migration strategy to Implementation managers and stakeholders in the UK

 

Ensure timeliness and accuracy Of migration project and adherence to internal policies and procedures.

 

 

Manage the identification of client feedback to ensure that any we maintain our competitive advantage.

 

Continually review, Improve and enrich the Client Implementation Migration Project Governance Methodology & team Metrics.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

 

Essential

 

University degree or similar

Significant experience in cash management

Specialised knowledge of Client Management

Significant experience in a client facing role

Strong leader in people, with experience of managing managers

Proven experience in project management

Strong problem solving skills a lateral thinker, with project planning experience, knowledge of industry tools and techniques

Strong ability to analyse complex issues, break down any barriers and find solutions

String and effective influencing skills to enable collaboration and co-operation
