Role:  Public Service Integrated Marketing Manager
Location: London 
Salary: up to £70,000 depending on experience
Job Description:
This position is marketing manager for Public Service industry segments within the Accenture Global Public Services Industry Group based in UK, France or Germany, and is deployed to the Health & Public Service Operating Group marketing team.
This is not a traditional marketing role. This individual is obsessed with digital, has their fingers on the pulse when it comes to social media, and innovates continually to develop the-next-big-thing for issue-based, content-led, digitally-enabled marketing. The person in this role works collaboratively to envision and execute breakthrough marketing programs that cultivate one-on-one client conversations in local markets that fuel business growth—and Accenture’s market position. 
A strategic partner to the business who understands the issues and the market, the individual in this role is a digital marketing visionary with a mind for business.
This position requires a passionate marketer with a pioneering spirit—a social media maven, a data geek, a storyteller, a lifelong learner, a willing teacher, an efficient business operator, and an inspiring leader. This person is flexible, does not hesitate to adapt programs based on data insights, and play devil’s advocate to produce compelling content for business outcomes. This individual is not an order taker, transaction processor, wall flower or yes-person.
Key Objectives:
  • Be a trend setting digital content marketer with a strong understanding of digital channels and driving differentiation through highly-personalized, customized (by geography) digital campaigns. Actively participating on social media.
  • Deliver the strategy and implementation of a content-led, issues-based, digitally-enabled marketing strategy for Public Service industry segments.     
  • Enhance client perception of Accenture; differentiate Accenture from competitors, and create preference for our services and assets.
  • Equip and enable our business teams to confidently and knowledgeably talk about our point of view with clients
Key Responsibilities:
• Work with members of the Accenture Public Service industry group, business services and other areas of the business to provide marketing counsel.
• Design, implement and measure marketing programs - including:
      o market / competitor / target client research as input to marketing positioning and
definition of value propositions
      o strategic positioning / content led issues-based marketing campaigns that place Accenture favorably in the context of competitors and the industry/ client agenda
      o compelling messaging and content development to support outreach campaigns
      o create content for digital and social media platforms
      o lead our positioning and presence at select industry and Accenture-driven events
      o digital and social media content promotion
• Manage third party providers (e.g. agencies, designers, writers)
• Understand and apply marketing analytics and drive continuous improvement
• Assist planning of investments and manage operational budget items
• Ensure that all global marketing policies and procedures are followed
• Travel domestically and/ or internationally, as needed on limited basis
    Basic Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Strong experience in integrated marketing including content development
    • Good experience in B2B marketing including digital//social media marketing
    Preferred Skill Requirements:

    • Proven experience in marketing strategy development and planning
    • Proven experience in message and sales campaign development
    • Strong written, content development and oral communication skills
    • Proven experience in thought leadership development
    • Proven experience in developing client stories and case studies
    • Proven experience in development of online and offline marketing materials
    • Proven experience in B2B digital /social media marketing campaigns
    • Proven experience in data driven marketing, analytics & insights, and apply the learnings
    • Proven experience with customer relationship management programs (Salesforce)


    Professional Skill Requirements:

    • Broad overall business acumen, knowledge of public sector priorities and issues, knowledge of Accenture's areas of business
    • Understanding and ability to originate and apply marketing concepts
    • Budget management and financial reporting skills
    • Excellent ideation and collaboration skills.
    • Executive level presence and influence
    • Ability to manage and build relationships in a matrixed organizational environment
    • Ability to work both autonomously and integrated across Marketing & Communications and other relevant Accenture teams
    • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills and presentation skills
    • Ability to develop and apply creative solutions to complex issues
