Project Description: Procurement Operations Analyst in Philadelphia, PA


Expected Project Duration: 6 - 12 months


Will be aligned to Accenture’s fastest growing business segment – Accenture Operations. Will serve multiple clients across industries providing an unmatched opportunity to gain perspective and build a solid platform for career growth.  They will build exceptional client relationship management skills while working in a team environment.  They will develop strong project management skills and grow analytical problem solving capabilities.  They will be part of Accenture’s market leading procurement organization driving significant and tangible value by impacting bottom-line results that can support our client’s strategic objectives like sustainability, innovation & growth.  The Entry Level Operations Analyst will join one of our more than 3300 procurement and category experts across the globe, and you'll collaborate using a common set of processes, platform and tools. You'll also have access to extensive procurement transformation capabilities-strategy development, technology implementation and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Analysis of client spending trends
    • Recommendation of strategies to improve bottom line results
    • Leveraging market leading technology assets to drive financial impact
    • Improving the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement operations
    • Maximizing performance across the procurement function
    • Increasing spend transparency, compliance and control
    • Enabling organizations to reduce their overall cost of acquiring goods and services

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a strategic sourcing, procurement, and/or supply chain function


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Post-graduate Degree preferred

  • Strong analytical skills (spend analysis, savings opportunity assessment)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal including formal presentation skills.
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Adaptable communication ability to conform to the varied corporate cultures and organizational structures of our customers
