A world-leading organisation, we provide consultancy and technology expertise to some of the biggest names in just about every industry you can imagine. Technology Degree Apprenticeship
We recognise that university isn’t for everyone and we are offering an exciting alternative. Our Technology apprenticeship provides you with the opportunity to build innovative solutions for our clients by utilising the most cutting-edge technologies.
What you’ll learn
The best part is that you don’t need to have any technical experience or programming skills.  You will start your Accenture career with a boot camp where you will learn about working at Accenture and start your technical training with an introduction to Java programming.
All of our apprentices complete a degree in Software Engineering, which will take either 3 or 4 years to complete, depending on your starting point.  We’ll support you every step of the way with specialist training. You’ll develop expert digital, web and cloud computing skills, as well as expertise in project management, application and infrastructure development, and business analysis.
If you work hard and do well, you will complete our apprenticeship programme with great business skills, a wealth of technological knowledge, a degree in Software Engineering and an opportunity for a permanent job offer on the graduate programme.
What are we looking for?
  • A genuine interest in technology (web design, app development, new technologies) and applying this in the real world
  • A can-do attitude
  • A logical mindset and problem-solving ability
  • A commitment to work hard and to spend some of your personal time to complete your studies
  • The instinct to question things
  • Great communication skills
  • An ability to collaborate with others and work effectively as part of a team
What is the application process?
Step 1 - Application
Apply online by sending your CV, answering a few questions, and submitting a cover letter.
Step 2 - Digital Video Interview
Impress us with your application, and we'll invite you to take part in a digital video interview.  During this we'll take you through a series of questions that are designed to see if you've got the skills and attitude that you'll need for the role.  You may not have this kind of work experience, so try to think of examples from different areas of your life that demonstrate the skills we're looking for. Perhaps you've had a leadership position on a sports team or society, or have been involved with technology at school.
Step 3 - Assessment Centre
Do well in your interview and you'll be invited to an assessment centre where you'll meet various people and take part in a range of activities (such as a group exercise and one-to-one interviews) to see your skills in action.  If it looks like you’re a good match after the assessment centre, we'll invite you to join the scheme.
Any offer of employment to successful candidates will be subject to them passing our Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) check.
