Location: London or Dublin
Travel: 10% of the time

What responsibilities will you have?
  • The Manager role will be a primary team member in covering the Accenture Product and Platform business, with a primary focus on software licensing, product development and product engineering services
  • Drives the industrialization of product development and support legal practices, with deep knowledge of open source, use of third party materials in the development process, significant vendor experience and inbound licensing, with some background in M&A
  • Holds a thorough knowledge of SW “go to market models”, both on premise and SaaS licensing models is required, along with a futuristic approach to industrializing our support model within other legal groups inside Accenture
  • Provide significant training of other teams, coaching of deal lawyers and frequent special and transformational projects in adjacent areas to Accenture Products and Platforms (including some coverage of emerging technology issues, artificial intelligence, and digital space)
  • Holds a futuristic view, and can deal with client discussions and product issues under pressure 
  • Excellent communication skills as well as a leadership approach to drive, inspire and innovate in an area that is fast changing, and at times new to Accenture’s internal teams
  • Anticipates new business structures and play as a trusted advisor in the creation of templates, while building stakeholders across Accenture’s diverse legal coverage areas will be essential
What skills & experience are we looking for?
  • Engineering or software background or relevant experience in a Legal product development role
  • Training experience and fluent knowledge of the software development process, transactional licensing and SaaS
  • Computer programming background, with perhaps a prior software industry experience would be a desirable not essential
What academic qualifications do you need?
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law
  • Qualified Solicitor with significant PQE
